But egg productions don't require roosters so how is that?

They need more egg layers from somewhere. You can't sex them until they're born and the breed they are is different from meat birds so males are useless. They've just invented a way of figuring out the gender before they hatch but it's very new. As it stands consuming eggs endorses a ton of culling.

Well that makes me feel bad. Maybe genetic engineering the birds to lay only female eggs? Would that be somehow better?

Battery hens only last a couple years at full production (artificial light, overfed, hormones) and need to be replaced regularly, 50% of the replacements are male and are culled.

edit/ already addressed I see, but I will take the opportunity to advocate for keeping one's own hens.  The eggs are better and you control the conditions, plus they are adorable and very entertaining.

Wait for this and consciences will be clearer - https://www.poultryworld.net/Eggs/Articles/2018/6/Egg-sexing-close-to-market-301797E/

I actually spend more time on that website than this one.

I have a good sleep and I'm happy seeing the price still rising when I wake up.

We are heading for a golden cross on the 50 / 100 daily MA.   That should give us the rocket boost we need to break the bear line.

You can post your desired pics here for community voting, I guess that will help for you too.

I am still too far for a hat but I always dream I will wear that someday too here.

Gentlemen, what do you think which of these pictures would look better on a hat?

Interesting thread and great idea.

But to be honest, if we ever reach $100K -which I hope but as I am still in "capitulation" mode I prefer to not take anything for granted- we will be able to issue our own fucking personalised coin-token for entrance... which will also serve as an "I was there" proof. How about that?
