I agree with a point that a show called "penis monologues" would never exist because it would be considered cringe-worthy.

Nope. The key factor was the council of elders.

The state and the people are always in conflict. The state gets too powerful, it becomes tyrannical. The people get too much power, they revolt. The elders sided with the state or the people according to which side was gaining too much power, acting as the ballast of a ship. Something we ought to implement today.

The women were there to breed, as they always have and will be. That is their biological function.
