There will only be 818,913 more bitcoin mined before the next halvening event.

That is only $3 billion worth of bitcoin.

Let bears enjoy a few extra percentage points.

Worrying about catching the exact bottom is like trying to pick up a penny in front of a steamroller.

https://twitter.com/alecziupsnys/status/1099746204433506304?s=21
Well nobody new is buying at the moment, let alone $3B of new money. Down we go.

Your opinion has been carefully noted. Thanks for participating. We will call you next year if you are right.

In the meantime maybe learn something about resistances and supports.

P.S.: A little hint to enlighten you:

I'm constantly monitoring the price of BTC, but we struggle to stay at $4,000 level.

Any chance for the 2nd pump?

What price will we land next?

Either 3.7 or 4.2 probably. Sideways in the meantime.
How's your long doing?

My "long" since 2013 is doing great, thanks!

If you are talking about my short term trading/scalping, I sold some at $3989 and $4089 and rebought some at 3766 and 3711. But those are almost insignificant quantities I play to keep me fit for the game. (The orders were setup and left standing months ago, I did not do anything.. except the 3711 buy)

All like in books to discover on btcusd.

Looks like we've completed wave 1 of the impulse structure. Now we're in a correction phase. We've almost tested 61.8%. And that almost doesnot allow me to buy it yet again. Waiting for clearer signals!

Is it me or does 'cunt' actually give a bloke too much power or agency when one calls them that?
A 'cunt' has actually damaged you in some way, or he really goes about hurting people.
Whereas a 'twat' is just useless, fannying about flapping his lips ineffectually.
Probably it's a regional/UK distinction. Anyway, food for thought.

I just like the word. Besides I still think he & his ‘Satoshi’s Vision’ cronies made the price go lower than it should have done due to selling copious amounts of BTC at regular intervals to crash the BTC price & fund their shit show.

As we fell from $6,000 so quickly I was literally having sleepless nights worrying & I hold that twat partly responsible.

There are too many  "coincidences" when an SV pump is preceeded by a BTC dump, including the last from Sunday. The question that puzzles me is why CW and his sockpuppets need fiat, when they can pump SV directly with BTC? It seems that CW is so delusional to think that he single handedly can pump SV above BTC, like the bcash flippenning. Of course, only a lunatic can believe this might happen. It is one thing to lie about his identity to hide the theft of 300K of his misteriously killed paralyzed friend, and another to actually believe his own lies. His recent actions - the fork wars and the letter to CFTC are signs of a schizo state of mind like to believe he is a teapot, or in his case Satoshi. I still want to believe that the recent dumps are not caused by him, and some of them surely aren't. But if he really dares to declare a war to Bitcoin, he will lose that war. Like the insane Smeagol (Am-gul ) from the LOTR, his name and fork will burn and be forgotten forever!

Well ok but you have to wait for the tamagotchi to cross the rubicon otherwise the beaver trend still applies. I'd prefer to wait till the close of the 127-hr then set my limits at the appropriate special numbers.

Not wanting to sound needy or anything, but can you maybe please create a 3d hat for me too (if you still have my pic) Smiley

Greatly appreciated!

Awww I'm sorry man - I was working from my PMs and thought I was all caught up!  You're next Smiley

Is it possible to make something 3d looking out of mine?

 Yes* it is!

Just saw this, trying to catch up with mail, private messages and this thread, is a Sisyphus work.

Thank's a lot!
I like them both, but I'll go with the one your wife made you make, it's really cool, with a medieval kind of look.
The other one is cool too with a techno kind of look, I just think the angel is a bit too tilted, it makes it a bit hard to recognize. I will save them both, but for today it's the birthday hat.
And I would never think that you would mean any disrespect.
Again, thanks for the cool hats.

Yes, proof that too many pricks own too much bitcoin.

Some people do not want to buy bitcoin, because they do not want to contribute to bitcoin HODLers becoming more rich.

Does not seem like a good reason, not to buy.

Either buy now, or wait until later, which will likely result in your buying at a higher, rather than a lower price, and why consider the matter of the "character" of HODLers so personally, anyhow?

Bitcoin is ingenious - warren buffet

Watch for yourself

First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win

@APompliano

https://twitter.com/xtdisnkfe/status/1100037382429011969?s=21

Warren Buffet (or someone like him or who would be his descendant at the BH)

1. it is rat poison.

2. it is ingenious, but bitcoin is not needed, it is an illusion.

3. Meh

4. It's OK, but I am not interested as it has no staying/market power (that's what he said about MSFT, AAPL, AMZN investment in early 2000s).

5. "Let me get in right now at $500K/btc, here is a check for $50bil." Sells at 750K because of "some other opportunity", crashes the price to 550K.

PSA: Bittrex scheduled maintenance.

Quote
As a valued Bittrex customer, we wanted to let you know that on Wednesday, February 27, Bittrex will update its cutting-edge trading engine that powers both Bittrex and Bittrex International as well as its partner exchanges around the world. This update will provide customers an even faster, more scalable platform and pave the way for additional, exciting upgrades and features later this year. To implement this planned technology update, we’ll need to temporarily take markets offline and disable wallets.

We are making this upgrade to continuously meet the growing demand and interest from current and new digital asset customers around the world.

Below, you’ll find everything you need to know regarding changes to our platform during the update which starts at 21:00 UTC on February 27th.

What can Bittrex customers expect during the planned upgrade?

Bittrex.com and International.Bittrex.com will remain online, customers will continue to be able to login and check their balances and customer assets will remain secure throughout the upgrade.
Wallets will be unavailable for up to 24 hours beginning at 21:00 UTC on Wednesday February 27th; deposits and withdrawals will be disabled until wallets are back online.
All markets will be offline and trading will be suspended for up to three hours beginning approximately at 22:00 UTC.
During the update any partially filled orders will be cancelled. All other open orders will remain on the order books.
Follow our social media channels for real-time updates on the day of the update.

There's more. That is the highlight. I assume more info on Trex' website.

Here's a post for all the jackasses that think Martin Armstrong is not a scammer.  His last comment on gold before this one was when the price was like $1050 and he said gold will implode "below $800 or lower into the abyss".  So he basically told everyone to sell the bottom.  Now he comes out with a complete 180 saying the exact opposite.  The only two possibilities here are either he's a fucking idiot that doesn't know anything, or he was lying to people in order for him and whoever his associates are to buy as low as possible and he's now loaded up:

https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2019-02-24/martin-armstrong-golds-rising-because-its-protects-us-against-government

The real price of gold - even within the government's rigged system of artificial suppression - should be something like $2500 based on over 95%+ correlation debt levels.  Add on the fact that there's an actual civil war going on amongst the (((deep state))) and others, and it should probably be double that.  Even the lowball estimate move to $2500ish gold would send silver to around a 30-40 GSR, or around $63-83.  Or are debt levels really double what they are and the govt covered it up under 'national security', meaning gold should already be $5000 just by debt level technicals alone?

"Venezuelan Man Tells the World How Bitcoin Saved his Family"

Quote
“I don’t own bolívars, Venezuela’s official currency. I keep all of my money in bitcoin. Keeping it in bolívars would be financial suicide.”

Quote
“In times of hyperinflation, everyone is constantly getting poorer, including a lawyer’s clients. My brother had to turn to cryptocurrencies to get paid since he couldn’t use PayPal due to exchange controls here allowing Venezuelan banks to use only local currency.”

Quote
“You could say that cryptocurrencies have saved our family.”
Quote
“I can’t change too many bitcoins at once, though. The government doesn’t monitor cryptocurrency transactions (yet), but it does monitor transactions in bolívars — and any worth about $50 or more will automatically freeze your account until you can explain to your bank where the funds come from.”

Venezuela is one of the cheapest places in the world (on record) to mine bitcoin because of the really cheap electricity prices. Anybody feel like going to live there for 12-18 months & setting uo a mining farm with me? Wink

I don't want to get killed.  Seems like a civil war is imminent.

In that regard, I would not want to be mistaken for a combatant, when my true intent would have been to make love (not war).
