We have plenty of coal allegedly

Supposedly 100 years of coal in the US, but I don't know many people with coal powered cars.  So yea, shouldn't be a problem powering buildings in the US with a combination of coal and nuclear, but there's no substitute for oil to power the cars.  The future I imagine for the west is an oil shock and a large societal shift to where western countries are going to be riding around on little motorcycles that consume small amounts of gas like they do in Asian countries.  Then some electric cars here and there, with the big gas guzzlers only being used to transport food or other materials.

As for this ArrieMoller and Trollgoossens guy, Europe has just about no fossil fuels, so you guys are cucked unless you beg Putin to not let you die.
Can always charge batteries with electricity generated from nuclear power while transitioning to solar and fusion. The transition also won't be nearly as bad as you make it out to be if it's a necessity. Necessity implies disproportional profits, which from your perspective the Jews would be so happy to provide that they'll make it work. If they don't they'd be stuck with little to nothing and a lot of mostly useless money.

I instead to be 100% energy self sufficient (car & house) within the next 24 months.  Currently have a Powerwall2 on order so I can capture my solar for night time use instead of dumping it into the grid. It’s 13.5kwh so not enough to take me off the grid altogether but I’m getting close.

Electric car is next. Big oil and the Saudis can go fuck themselves.  Looking at the Taycan, Model 3 Performance but there are some other interesting ones in the pipeline.  Like this electric Peugeot concept.

https://i.ibb.co/nM9q9jb/44-B453-B0-BBB0-4-B72-BACE-726-D75-FC29-A6.jpg

No need to muck about with nuclear, the future is already here.

Dammit HM i like you very much.... but don’t go electric on cars let us humans keep cars and Bikes on oil engines, i like them so much

Hope this doesn’t make me a bad person Roll Eyes
No it doesn't.

But let me propose that we restrain oil cars to specifically designed race tracks in the future and keep streets that are meant for transport and travel automated and electric. That way we can have the best of both worlds while minimizing the down sides: pollution and accidents.

Guys

This is a car* that is:

  • faster than a Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4
  • always free to fill up at home (solar + storage)
  • many businesses will allow you to fill up for free if you eat a meal there or stay in their hotel
  • has almost no maintenance except tyres, wiper blades and rarely brake pads
  • sits 4 people in comfort
  • travels 335 miles / 540 km on a single tank of electricity
  • has the highest safety rating of any car ever built
  • runs completely silent and silky smooth
  • doesnt harm the environment
  • chicks dig it

What's not to like?

*Specs based on the Tesla P100D because this car is not yet in production but you get the general idea

For those that say that an electric car can't run the N Ring, that's no longer correct.  The NIO EP9 has run the ring in 6:45.  https://www.autoexpress.co.uk/nio/ep9/97707/nextevs-nio-ep9-all-electric-hypercar-smashes-nurburgring-record-pictures-and-video

That's 2 seconds faster than the 911 GT2 RS

Sitting at an airport bar in some foreign country, waiting another hour before my flight boards, and I begin my return flight to Texas (All alone. Rick had to bail earlier due to business matters tearing him away from us)

Beer #4 flowing through my veins.

Can't wait to get home.

On a tangential note, and without wanting to break any OpSec, I just wanted to sincerely, and honestly make a point about getting colonoscopies before age 40.

I recommend colonoscopies start at age 35, but, whatever.

Colon cancer has already taken a "brother" from my life - WAY before his time - and I don't wish to lose family members to the same disease in the future (Prognosis is good at this stage with early Stage 3 diagnosis for current family member undergoing treatment - the reason for my visit out of the country)

Perhaps, also do at least the 23andme test.

$4,000 acting as resistance once again. This is just like the last cycle when if I remember correctly $250 was the psychological barrier.

We are at the process of $4k, right now, and pretty much broken it.  In other words, get over $4k.. it is in the rear view mirror... Of course, it is not out of sight.. and we are close enough to go back there... but get over it!!!!!! get over it!!!!!  Stop attaching!!!!!!

Next one is $4,200 which may be more difficult, $4.5k which might be easy, assuming we get past $4.2k... Then sub $5k might be a bit more difficult to get close to or break above $5k... assuming that we get past $4.5k and $4.2k.... Let's look forward, not back...... That's my tentative emotional... whooopieeee...  thinking.    Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy   Wink

O.k.  I will revisit the $4k issue, and concede that $4k is not any kind of done deal, which means that we are going to have to revisit $4k again.

Hopefully, before Tuesday or so, but it is understandable that the road up to, even sub $5k BTCs, could take some time to play out.

I don't want to engage in scapegoatism logic, but I still believe that it is reasonable to blame shitcoins for this continued inability for bitcoin to go up until moar of the froth is purged from those various shit twats (aka not good cunts).

If you take a current snapshot of the past week of BTC's price appreciation, as compared to many shitcoins, many of those shitcoins are price appreciating more than 5% while bitcoin only price appreciated 1% or so.... With shitcoin arrogance like that, it seems to me that they gotta be beaten up a lot more in order that they are a bit more humbled - instead of having some kind of false presumptions that they are leading the price, when they are not.  Bitcoin is the dog.. not those arrogant pump-filled imitators.

So, yeah, maybe bitcoin's price is ONLY at these continued decently high levels of about 3x from three years ago, because of some of the symbiotic price back and forth - including money coming into the space through pump and dump scams and shitty imitations, and it seems to me that an ongoing purging out of that crap is going to make it much more difficult to transition into a bull market.

I am as anxious as any other HODLers to transition the fuck out of this current bear market, but have to concede, have to concede (regrettingly) that it could take some moar time.

Just wanted to share some hopium:

"End of this week we could have for the first time since this bear market 6 green candles in a row for total crypto Marketcap.
This kind of configuration with short but increasing candles in most cases end with an acceleration with bigger candles, IF 140 B is breached"

Are you talking about bitcoin?

What is the thing you call "crypto?"  Never heard of it.

I'll bite Smiley Well neither am I following this specifically, but hey, if it could be an indicator of a possible trend reversal and better times ahead, wouldn't it be a fun fact?

Snap into reality, greensheep.  I would not characterize your response as "biting".

In essence, I asked you a valid question that you considered to be a joke, and it is not.  So in essence, you evaded answering my question... and maybe that evasion was not on purpose, but what you did was to go back to describing market dynamics based on some kind of amorphous concept, presumably the "crypto" thingy-ma-jiggie that you referred to earlier that you still have not defined nor described.    Roll Eyes  In that regard, have you appreciated that you are posting in a bitcoin thread?

not sure what do you mean by 'used against you'?
I believe that you can use 'do not share' at least as far as not sharing with insurance companies.
That said, personally, I still did not do the test yet, although I am planning to do it sometime.

Merited by vapourminer (1), mindrust (1)

It doesn't matter if the insurance company knows.  If you get a DNA test, and you know that you have a higher than average chance to get a specific disease, and don't disclose that to an insurance company, then your insurance cover is void.

Better not to know, and to be covered by health insurance than know, and be uninsurable.

Yeah, rinse/wash/repeat is getting really, really old. Some supposed experts say we need to blast thru $4,600 USD for any real stability.

it is boring, well in a good way, I guess I had too much 'excitement' when BTC dumped from 18k to 3.2k

so I want 'responsible' excitment...not 'horror' excitement ...to be clear ...price wise.

(bored, on W0, should do laundry etc....stalling)

It will go to insurance companies and you will be declined coverage accordingly.

It would not and it will not (at least in US).
Besides, you already gave your blood for regular testing, right?
If this is correct, then they could have sequenced your DNA already.

I do appreciate the caution, though.

In more practical terms, I am more concerned that the data from people driving habits could be (potentially) pipelined to auto insurance as your android/iphone definitely knows the speed of your driving vs the speed limit in an area. That would be nasty as around here the flow on the highway is ALWAYS 5-10 miles above the speed limit and you have to stay with the flow.

If you get a DNA test, and you know that you have a higher than average chance to get a specific disease, and don't disclose that to an insurance company, then your insurance cover is void.

Better not to know, and to be covered by health insurance than know, and be uninsurable.

That's NOT how it works in US.
There is no coverage denial for pre-existing conditions, AFAIK.
