Majority of bitcoin trading is a hoax, new study finds Ninety five percent of spot bitcoin trading volume is faked by unregulated exchanges, according to a study from Bitwise this week.
The firm analyzed the top 81 crypto exchanges by volume on industry site CoinMarketCap.com. They report an aggregated $6 billion in average daily bitcoin volume. The study finds that only $273 million of that is legitimate.
“People looked at cryptocurrency and said this market is a mess, that’s because they were looking at data that was manipulated,” says Matthew Hougan, global head of research at Bitwise.https://www.cnbc.com/2019/03/22/majority-of-bitcoin-trading-is-a-hoax-new-study-finds.htmlThey have discovered the gunpowder.

You are missing an important point: there will be no distribution, until the Coinlab lawsuit will be sorted out, at least in the first Court. The reason is that the Coinlab claim, of about 16 billion $, is so (ridiculously) large that it's impossible to fairly attribute voting rights. Until then, Kobayashi may decide (he did not promise to withhold from selling) to sell more BTC and BCH, if the Court will approve.
Since last time sold almost at top we should not expect any selling in next 2 years since they obviously know what they are doing. You know? Kobayashi san has proven to be a pretty sharp motherfucker in retrospect. Um, no... Kobayashi would like to sell all soon, but there was strong objection from the creditors present at the meeting. Anyway, since the forks other than BCH won't be distributed, they will be 100% sold, probably by auctioning the keys.

1. The waves are clearly getting longer
There is no evidence for that. How do I long cakes on the NYSE? Not sure, but you should long cake bakers and short cakes. The increase in demand for cakes implies a mid to long-term increase in supply which implies an exponential down trend for the value of cakes. The cake is a bull trap.

Market updates today. The market is fully red, I think it will be green shoon. What is this actually red market or market correction? This is nothing happening except ongoing consolidation within a range.. so in that regard, a few percentage in each direction is nothing to write home about. If you zoom out, it seems that the overall trend in the past few weeks is up within the range, yet such UP is taking place on a largely slow basis. Whether such UP will continue is another question that is yet to be answered.

Good morning hodlers. It appears our task is not yet complete as dreams of a weekend rally weaken and begin to dwindle. Mostly a sideways continuation pattern following the current trend of smallish ups and downs. A TK crossing such as we are seeing on the hourly is usually a bullish indicator but it appears someone is taking this opportunity to sell into it. 1h On the 4hr chart, what was once support has become resistance again. I think there is a high probability that we test support in the 0.5 fib range by late next week. #dyor 4h #stronghands

WSJ did a similar piece. That study is https://twitter.com/BitwiseInvest/status/1109114656944209921As part of 226 slides presented to the SEC on our ETF filing, we did a first-of-its-kind analysis of *order book data* from all 81 exchanges reporting >$1M in BTC volume on CMC. https://www.sec.gov/comments/sr-nysearca-2019-01/srnysearca201901-5164833-183434.pdfYes Bitwise making their case to some idiot fiat gang about their ETF.
