Guys! Just look at the real volumes of TOP exchanges with CMC! That's fucked up

MARKET SURVEILLANCE REPORT – APRIL 2019
What is the source for this table?
I see different numbers on CMC page:

https://coinmarketcap.com/rankings/exchanges/reported/

You should always provide sources if you don’t produce content yourself.

By the way, not all exchanges are producing fake volumes: The rock trading (Italian exchange with long history of reliability (never hacked)) apparently is not:
https://dgi.io/2019/04/23/TRT-Volumes.html

The link is directly below the image it reads "MARKET SURVEILLANCE REPORT – APRIL 2019".

Its an excellent read.

Despite previous info, maybe they are not out of danger just yet.

The press might just be lagging behind, as it often happens.
and just why exactly is the Thai government tracking down two non violent people? They obviously aren't going to build another seastead there.

Because TPTB don't like people getting away with not being under their thumb so examples must be made.

I hope the US threatens sanctions against those fuck heads for even threatening a US citizen with death over something so silly.

US probably put them up to it.

I wouldn't hold your breath.

I agree.

Well if you are foolish enough to be scammed into thinking ethereum has any usefulness , you likely are foolish enough not to care about security and have a weak passcode.

Quote
The mistake was probably the result, he says, of Ethereum wallets that cut off keys at just a fraction of their intended length due to coding errors... or even that included malicious code, corrupting the randomization process to make keys easy to guess for the wallet's developer.

Quote
Goodness , almost every design decision Ethereum has made has all been about marketing instead of security.

More victims in the future as the wallets still exist unidentified because who needs code peer review, right?

I am well out of my depth

yep, it also applies to the resolution of digital cameras

How many btc have also been stolen do to stupid seed words.

Looks like this is some poorly written ETH wallets there. Ethereum is a big steamy pile of shit so much so that we have a long list of fuck ups -

1) Main dev Gavin can't even code simple multisig right leading to loss of millions

2) Dao

3) Eth devs don't even put a simple checksum in their original addressees leading to loss of millions.

4) Eth 2 cannot be bothered with as a SF or HF to upgrade the chain because the first iteration was such a chit show they are going to do a completely new chain with an airdrop

on and on ...

Such as Layer 2 solutions? Stated only partly in snark/sarc.

Note that fixing the protocol where it stood at v0.1 would stave off any bloat on the wire.

It is certainly undeniable that the computing infrastructure we have today allows many more use cases than than of a generation ago (or even of a year ago). Accordingly, 'bloatware' as an argument is weaksauce. Yes, as processing power cost drives toward zero, it makes sense to spend more computing cycles for a more enjoyable experience. This I see as positive.

Maybe you're the outlier that wants to watch their porn in glorious Hercules compatible resolution on a monochrome screen at 3 frames per minute. I dunno. But you'd certainly be in the minority.
