Not much of a difference in terms of law.

Elwar build nothing, he was just a tenant.

That's like finding a houseboat on Airbnb... nobody is going to arrest a tourist for renting one in the US.

Try declaring sovereignty in a trailer on the mainland and see what happens.

It is a very powerful idea. Which makes it dangerous.

Nothing will happen. Declaring anything is just words, and words are protected by the First Amendment.

Actions matter, like if someone would start breaking laws, and stops paying taxes, such actions will invite trouble.

First Amendment does not mean freedom from consequences.

If you say “I declare sovereignty” to your cat and continue to pay your taxes, then no, nothing will happen.

But I don’t think that was what seasteads were about.
Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

Bcash is just pathetic with their concern trolling of LN, when we openly discuss its limitations, or the constant rehashing old talking points from rogers past propaganda.

Bcash is so insecure and so centralized that they further shifted away from the whitepaper into an area where they no longer even use PoW to achieve consensus anymore but have reorg timestamps approved by a central dev team where PoW is merely to be used at the chain tip to order txs. Unlike BTC and the way Bitcoin was described in the whitepaper the BCH alt now uses weak subjectivity as the basis of determining consensus.

The 2014/15 fractal continues to break down as the price breaks upwards.  Bullish.

And what exactly Elwar did? They just lived there.

I applaud you for dutifully reading the backlog of posts from your, rather lengthy, absence.

Actually reading the fucking thread goes a long way with me.

It's the rhetoric.

I am quite certain that if you started erecting spars 15 miles out in the gulf of Mexico and posting on FB about your libertarianism and self sovereignty the reaction of the USCG would be swift and unequivocal.

Global enclosure is nearly complete.  I really think that, short of an orbital Lagrange platform, the aircraft carrier is the only way.

But if you were 200km away in true international waters and some nation abducted and wanted to put an American to death, i can see US navy paying a visit to that nation. Elwar just didn't get far enough

The 2014/15 fractal continues to break down as the price breaks upwards.  Bullish.

Bullish indeed. I still think we test 4ks very soon, and then start a serious run for spectacular new yearly highs.  I see this 2015 fractal being outperformed to the upside a lot this year.

Reason being is that in 2015 we had no QE, and interest rates were kept at zero. This time in 2019 which is our repeat of 2015 so to speak in the four year halving cycle, and we have an increase in rates being halted, and QT is ending. Without QT and rising rates all of 2018 we would have never gotten as low as 3100 so the fractal represents a low in 2015 achieved without the tailwinds we had in 2018, and now that those tailwinds are alleviated, it makes perfect sense to outperform the fractal by a large amount. US stocks hit all time highs today, we are back in a full blown risk on environment, and no risk is better than Bitcoin.

USD is the global reserve currency until King Bitcoin takes his rightful throne, and its natural for interest rates and QE, QT, operation twist, etc to have major headwind and tailwind effects on the BTC/USD exchange rate.

The Money Printers are firing the printing presses with reckless abandon, ensuring the Bull Run will be glorious. With self destructing enemies like this, who needs friends.  Cheesy

130 days into the new Baby Bull Market and all is well.  Grin

Very nice hat. Let me do add +1 on behalf of you.. Can I request a new one?
