What year will we achieve a new ATH?
2020 is my guess.
I went for 2021, that’s what I said when we hit the bottom so I can’t change my mind now. It’d make me look like an idiot. I always think the price increases for a while until the halving then we have 3-6 months to wait until the halving takes full effect then we have lift off. I’m calling the new ATH - Q1 or Q2 of 2021. |

The market recently has matured and such news doesn't change anything. In fact, more traders realize that such news trigger short lived bull balloons that pop up pretty quickly. Without ETF, we will see a steady growth beyond 20K. We entered the year-before-the-halving-accumulation zone and everyone who is clever enough, buys and waits at least six months after the halving. That is the reason there are so few bitcoins on the exchanges in the last months. IMO, this is the main reason for the bull run and not some rumors. In this case you can buy now and hold till Q4 then sell at $20k+ (I'm sure we'll see an ATH this year) which will be a very nice profit. If you're patient enough you can hold up to 6 months after the halving and sell at another ATH ($100-500k+ per BTC). So you can't really lose it's only a matter of how long you're willing to wait and how much money you will finally receive. Win-win  I don't get it Why is everyone aiming to sell for FIAT? If and when crypto does go sky high late in 2020 then why would you turn to something that is losing its value? It just doesn't make sense. Either you believe that BTC will rule or you don't. I'm just looking forward to the day (ca 2025) I can quit my job and buy a big summerhouse next to a lake for 0.1BTC. In about three halving (2028), transaction fees would need to be $20 or thereabouts for miners to stay on BTC and stay afloat. Feel free to explain how to "rule" when fees are crazy high. It only gets worse every 4 years. What's the value of $20 in 2028? Inflation will be the ruler for many. All the while Bitcoin proves its store of value strength. I'm pretty sure I'll be happy to pay the $20 if it means I get to keep my value. Second layer solutions (if needed) will be easy to implement. |

If JP Morgan is telling you bitcoin has intrinsic value, it means they're definitely not buying any and pray you will buy theirs for more than they bought it for. They're not looking forward to doing a market sell and sending the price of both Ethereum and Bitcoin to zero before even half of it is unloaded because there's no liquidity and they want to dump hundreds of millions of it. |
