I find watching a 5 min. BTC chart so relaxing... Almost therapeutic.

I know, I'm weird...
get ready for breakout soon Wink

 Upgrade1 required before breakout.

1albeit a very minor one

thanks*

changed, clear to go now /9k awaits/

*it took me good two minutes to find out what the change was.   Cheesy

That's actually pretty quick.  I don't want to mention any names but in the chart below (which I posted ~ 3 months ago) you may see others who haven't seen the minor difference.

Avatar upgrade in progress - WO avatars are being converted to transparent background png format to give a neater appearance.   Since the hats number in the low 100s and I have no formal (or informal for that matter) tracking system, I will convert them as I see them in posts.  If you would like to change your avatar to the cleaner format, please take it from the table below (right click and save image).  If I haven't upgraded your avatar and you have posted recently, it's not because I don't love you; PM me and I'll fix it.

This upgrade is in response to constant badgering a suggestion from Kylapoiss which forced me to learn a new skill.  Seriously though, it does look much nicer - so clean.  Great suggestion!

Buenos dias Bitcoinland. In a hotel room in Playa del Carmen with my shiny new bottom teeth waiting to head off to Cancun airport with my lovely Mexican GF to spend the next 5 months in Canada. It's getting unbearably hot here and the weather in Toronto is gorgeous at this time of year.

Meanwhile, the price of Bitcoin is right back to where it was before that bizarre hiccup a few days ago... currently $8713USD/$11800CAD (Bitcoinaverage).

We're ready to resume the battle for $9k for as long as it takes. Hopefully I won't have to sell any Bitcoin until sometime in 2020 and with any luck I can buy some more in the meantime. By this time next year the price should be considerably higher. Another year after that and most of us should be fairly wealthy. Maybe by then we'll have resolved the $100k party location(s). As long as I don't have to go to the USA, I'm happy.

Life is good. Thank you Bitcoin.

Go Bitcoin go.

Okay Mr kenzawak : Meow meow... Woof woof  Smiley

lol I'm serious. It's sometimes cheaper than a regular flight ticket.

EDIT : I wouldn't take my dog(s) to the 100k party, there will be enough animals there already I'm sure.

We'll bring the whole zoo including roach, gembitz, jonoiv etc etc

Speaking of jonoiv:  Poor lil tinglie.... seems to be the most recently roached.    Cry Cry

Sucks to be him.

I would not be rubbing in his bad situation if he were more humble and if he were not such an asshole in his self-righteous talking his book in an effort to get others (reading this thread) to follow his lack of incrementalism selling of BTC dumbness.

Well, this is putting the 100K party Vegas location in jeopardy.

I thought it was agreed that we wouldn't do the party in the US, for our various international friends who have problems stepping onto US soil ?

Canada in the summer is nice (British Columbia ?), although I think somewhere in Europe might be an alternative (Spain ? The Netherlands ? Belgium ? Someplace that has no trouble with English)

Mexico or anywhere South America are out of contention for security reasons.

I have trouble getting out of the US, might make it into Canada, the Caribbean would actually be the easiest to pull off for me.

Btw count me in for the 100k party.
What's the deposit? Where do I send it? (Tranche of random addresses in 3, 2...)

Don't recall anyone suggesting the only place one of the wealthy elite would party... Monaco.
Granprix weekend would be the cherry on top.

Monaco is a fooking shithole filled with arseholes. A weekend in a bail hostel in a Detroit ghetto would be classier.

I totally agree... Mic also mentioned Nice so the above is also true for that location as well  Grin

It was always going to be very impractical opsec-wise to have one huge party.
We're going to have to decentralise this thing.

Probably everyone has already realized that Bitcoin is aiming the moon.
I am a person who trades on trend and recommend it to you too.
You can shout a lot that bitcoin will end and it will soon go to the bottom, but judging by the analysis of cycles, Bitcoin will reach the bottom maybe in 3-4 years. The bull market is just at the beginning.

Quote

Quote
BTC has over the past few days had some major STOP HUNTS on all the major exchanges taking out many margin traders, but if you have managed to survive the carnage and are still LONG... BTC is going to make yet another attempt at the 10K Target...

BUT... this attempt will only see $9444 before a deeper correction, and then a 10k attempt. So if you are thinking of making a SHORT TRADE... patience, the time is coming...

EVEN BTC NEEDS TO REFUEL !!

But don't be concerned about this correction, there are different types of corrections and this correction is known as a TECHNICAL CORRECTION which is not to be confused with a TREND REVERSAL We are still very much within our parabola and still very much within our rise to targets.

What is the difference between a technical correction and a trend reversal?

A technical correction occurs when an assets price becomes overinflated in a bullish trend , the price experiences an extreme selloff which is sometimes unexpected and swift, with a steep drop . This swift drop sometimes causes market panic and the Bears come out to play with their potential reversal charts, to extreme levels, I have seen some of those charts right here on TV amongst some of the top traders and top trending charts, but it is really important to know the difference between a technical correction and a trend reversal.

When we are looking to see the differences we need to assess the entire market sentiment, and it is important follow the money trail, by looking at what I spoke about in my last BTC update, with the money flow and BTC Dominance. We also need to look deeper into news and media as to what they are reporting, if mainstream media are starting to have conversations about the state of the CryptoCurrency markets in a positive way, then we need to think that we are in a technical reversal and BUY THE DIP ,

In a bullish market it is not always easy to determine where and when a technical correction will occur as they are mainly controlled by the bigger players (whales) creating liquidity for themselves.

So don't confuse a Technical corrections with a potential reversal as you are going to wish you bought BTC at 7K or 8K when we are up at 11K

So the best advice I can give you right now, is while the market is still in a bullish mindset, BUY THE DIP!

I think you're right...

All of us getting together in one place and time that is publicly known (or that could leak) will create a huge BTC honey pot. We could then be abducted, tortured and have our BTC wrenched out of us! OUCH!

Most of us already are, or will soon be millionaires, some even billionaires... This is no joke! Gotta organize this thing very carefully...

"Localbitcoins Removes In-Person Cash Trades Forcing Traders to Look Elsewhere"

Quote
On June 1, cryptocurrency enthusiasts were shocked to hear that the peer-to-peer exchange Localbitcoins has ceased offering in-person cash trades. According to a few users, all pending fiat trades have been canceled, leaving local traders who prefer cash high and dry and forced to seek other avenues.

http://www.xbt.money/localbitcoins-removes-in-person-cash-trades-forcing-traders-to-look-elsewhere/
Huh. That sucks. Any alternatives?

Quote
The news also comes two days before the launch of Local.Bitcoin.com, a peer-to-peer marketplace that will allow individuals to trade bitcoin cash (BCH) privately with anyone in the world.
So they are... what, trying to phish their own customers? Attempting a forced conversion from bitcoins to clonecoins? I smell higher entities at work here.

Anyone feels like Bitcoin it's about to break $9000 again in the next few days and will stay above it this time? Do you guys not think the last crash was a coordinated move by someone or a few people to crash the market? Taking down so many support levels in such a short period of time for no reason?
