Meanwhile in Denmark:

My Bank In Denmark Just Offered Me A Negative Rate Of Interest To Borrow Money

The article says the negative interests were available for the banks and institutions... only till now. Now an average Joe go to the Danish bank, ask for money and get paid by doing so.

As somebody said in the comments, you can buy the whole country like that.

Crazy right? Interesting times. Sounds a lot like we are about to see the end of the financial system we knew.

Satoshi knew this shit was coming. When you think like that selling at $100k looks like a stupid idea.

Bitcoin did over $60 billion of on-chain tx volume last week.

That's over 3x the volume of any week in January 2019.

congrats to VBs  Grin
amazing the disparity in page views on your xclnt threads due (?) to their respective subforums
what's next?
-a history of forks and fork attempts -- xt, classic, unlimited, bch, s2x, all that jazz
-i ran out of ideas for you just now
LOL, What you have to do is give me many, many, merits, ideas for the next issues are not a problem. Kiss
If I do not get big bags of merit, I'll never catch you. Wink
A part of the success is also yours, you gave me several tips when I got to the thread of WO.
My threads are like gratitude to Bitcoin, if Satoshi was here I would settle for thanking him for having created Bitcoin, but unfortunately it is not so, for this reason as a good BTCitcoiner, I feel that they must be related to the origin of Bitcoin.
I have one next in mind but I need a lot of time to document it, I'm sure that if I can check all the information you like it.
Thx, V8
Not for the first time you seem to think I have lots of merits to give but sorry, I've already given them away, and I don't get as many now as i used to. Am quite sure you'll overtake me anyway with all the work you put in. Welcome to pm if you need help. btw I asked LoyceV for this graph a bit ago: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5099167.msg51186664#msg51186664

Nice post Lambie....

But is there Maybe someone that could make a list with just the members that are interested for such party...

And Then which would seem fit to be allowed @the party ? Smiley

Smaller groups are good but I think the group would not be like 300 members

More like around 50 or something....

Ty Goose, and happy belated. Yes if someone did start a list and give maybe 2 weeks for all WO hat members to tell them where they would be interested in partying and how many non WO hat member guests they want to bring to the party then it would help potential hosts know what to do.

Also it might be wise to stop giving out hats or making new hats not count for the parties bc bad people could get on here and earn a hat just to come to the party, so only hat members as of today or something.

I think the real thing that will swell the party size is that hat members are going to want to bring gfs, bfs, best friends etc to share their most epic night of partying. I honestly dont know how many hat members want to come but I would guess at least 60-80 with an average of 2 guests each so that would mean at least 210 people. Even just making a US party and non US party would make the numbers workable with 100 people aprox per group.

A list is a great idea bc then we can see the real demand for said parties.

You are the best list keeper here so I nominate you! Cheesy

I suggest we create a private forum or private subreddit to further discuss matters. Participation by invite only. Maybe an application process to make sure anyone who should get in, but slipped through the cracks, can get in.

Edit: I also like the idea of setting the date do be an arbitrary number of months after the halvening.

Still chugging along in the high 7k’s. Got a feeling we may test lower before we start to rise again but hopefully not.

Everything is good atm though & well on schedule.

As unlikely as McAffe's prediction of $1,000,000 by 2020?

Neither will happen, I think. $10,000 just before the halving in 2020. $1,000,000 I don’t know, maybe something like 2025.

200k per year from 2020, not to bad even if it would 50% true.  Was this the worse case senario or ?

The price usually booms 6-12 months after each block reward halving. The next one is May 2020, I predict $100,000+ in 2021.

The next block reward halving after 2020 is 2024 so history tells us upwards of $500,000 per coin in 2025 or 2026.

I always wondered what NIRP actually means for regular folks.
This pretty much starts to provide an answer.

I also agree that it is not "normal". I cannot imagine how this continues and/or ends.
Interestingly, US 10 year note is rapidly decreasing in yield (massive buying).
Of course, for countries with NIRP, 2.26% interest for 10 year is a great deal, hence the buying (most likely from those countries).

Re the lively discussion on 100k party (ies): it's like a variation of Heisenberg's uncertainty principle...you cannot predict (measure) both the price (speed in HI) and timing (position in HI) of bitcoin. This explains why both 1K and 10k parties did not happen/failed.

A proposal on how to circumvent or "tame": It is likely that prior ATH will be breached and we would have a short correction afterwards, but should get on our way up within, say, 3 mo. Therefore the ATH party could be planned at 30-90 days post 20K, therefore nailing the time and, potentially, being still on a rise from ATH, which would make everyone happy.

TL;DR it is a ATH party, not strictly a 100K party. The time would be 30-90 days post new ATH (at a fixed time slot).

I do not remember asking you about your merits, I'm sorry if I bothered you with the comment.

The only merits that interest me are the minimum to be legendary.

In many occasions a good advice is more important than a handful of merits. Wink

Thanks for everything, V8
