Oh wow look, gold is approaching the same price it first hit...wait for it...in 2010.  Tongue

I wonder if a person was better off buying Bitcoin instead of gold in 2010? Hmmm brb lemme check the charts...  Grin

Yeah, maybe best to keep the WO as trust-meta-drama-reputation-less  as possible, we can really mis that sh*t in here cause we already have our r0ach in this space...

But exactly as infofront says keep it minimum in here, cause this is the finest hangout thread of the entire forum with a lot of regular good guys/members that share some cool on as off topic stuff that we all can appriciate......

Best post here since last DT1 rotation.
I already committed to keep WO drama-free.
I liked the happy safe place: it's a family, and like every family  we discuss, we laugh, sometime we argue, we have the uncle we never liked, or the bossy cousin,  but we kept drama away.
Can we please revert to it?

That is nonsense and utopian thinking until rule-abusers like roach are banned, which they will not be because modern liberalists are horrible at creating and enforcing any policies. Oh wait, this is turning into Politics now. Unforeseen side-effects of one's wishes. Tongue It's best to just stop responding to anything related to what you don't want to see in here. Simple as that.

Good morning hodlers

$8.2k resistance smashed and a possible broken right shoulder greet us today as bitcoin searches for a opening at the 0.618 short fib.

Still observing an area of interest forming around the 19th.  #dyor

We need more drama.

^ I retract my words there. I didn't mean irrelevant and annoying meta drama though.

@Last_of_V8s I didn't get the meaning of your "baggage" post when you posted it. My best wishes and soon recovery for your wife, stay strong!

Thinking we're due for a small pullback.

If Gemini allowed for shorting, I would likely contemplate taking on a small short position at this point, with the funds that I'm fucking around with on there.

Generally inadvisable to short a bull market.  Long the dips instead.

woman-hater Roach

Bullshit.  I'm simply for equality, which means the horrific monster known as the western woman stepping down 500 notches from her current pedestal.  After we've achieved equality, we can then decide on if women should be lowered further since only patriarchal civilizations are actually functional.

You have a brain full of stupid birds that do not let you see reality, your vision of women is something like this, so would you be happy?

If your answer is yes, you need medical attention.

You have a very wrong idea of what a woman is.

This would make me very happy.

May be you will win some BTC. It's only 0.002BTC to join.
This only might be a lot of money in the future. I'd rather not.  Tongue

Yeah, right... I like to donate my BTC... even if .002 BTC is a mere $16.66, today.   Roll Eyes

Similar to Lauda, I would rather keep my current $16.66 worth of BTC and to purpose such BTC value in ways that are choosable to me and on my own terms and timeline, rather than either gambling with it or being enticed into petty marketed lottery schemes.... ..

We should not be receiving those kinds of solicitations for our BTC in this thread, am-I-NOT-rite?

Spear some fiat and buy some more bitcoins. Use 0.002BTC to join the pool 🤪
If you are good at prediction then you may win 50% of the prize pot which will be 0.01BTC

Now 0.01BTC will be 5 times more money than 0.002BTC in the future 😜

Your math appears to be fucked up, and that is why lotteries and gambling casinos are able to make so much damned money off of get-rich-quick-thinking people with deficient math skills.   Roll Eyes

@Lauda
How about now? 😉

Join the prediction pool, If I win then I will sponsor half of your entry fee

Come on girl, it's only 0.001BTC Now (if I win 🙂)

My ex-girlfriend used to use this kind of logic with me, as if going in for "half" price improved the probabilities.   Roll Eyes

Any time it goes below $8k it jumps back shortly afterwards. I lost the count how many times his happened. The chart says it was 3 or 4 times. There is clearly a strong buy support. It is almost like the buyers know what's about to come.

And I don't only mean the halvening. Probably it is BAKKT we are seeing in action here.

I would like to see another $6k just to buy more but it is probably not coming. DCA'ing only.

I’m targeting another 1.4BTC to make my stash a big round number. I should be able to achieve this target unless it goes to 15k or something in the next few months.

The extra 1.4BTC will take me to what I had after I converted all my BCH into BTC. I’ve nearly managed to pit all that money back.

You coy dog, you!!!!!!

Funny thing is that once you reach your pretty round number you will be very pissed to have to "break" it when you decide to sell some at next ATH.

Exactamente!!!!!

You put your finger on one of the major problems to be striving for artificially irrational goal posts that could negatively affect your abilities to emotionally detach yourself a bit from your investment in order to make (hopefully) better decisions.

I don't know what inspired me to find this post... Think I was reading through rpietla's competing WO thread and saw a comment by SaddamBitcoin (don't know what happened to that guy, maybe he struck it rich with XMR and fucked off)...

Anyway, its to lighten the mood a bit (if it needs lightening), and I don't know where else to post it, but I want to archive it somewhere else than its original moderated thread, and where I'll remember where it is.

Sometime in the 3rd quarter of 2014 I made a bet with SaddamBitcoin that the price of XMR would drop below 0.01 BTC before the end of the year. He was of the utmost firm opinion that it would not. The loser had to send pictures of themselves peeing on their own head.

Its time for SaddamBitcoin to live up to his part of the bet and pee on his own head.

XMR dropped below .01 on Dec 17th. I can't find the comments that were part of the bet -- most likely they were deleted by one of your mods.

But he owes me a picture of himself peeing on his own head. Or else I'm going to start my own thread with it.

It's true, I lost the bet fair and square. Regardless, my faith in Monero remains strong so I must uphold my end of the bargain.

I will deliver a photo of the deed to Nutildah by midnight Dec 31st 2014.

Sure enough, he upheld his end of the bargain. I think. He did PM me somewhere between 2 and 4 pictures  -- but -- I was so dumbfounded that he actually sent them that I never actually bothered to look at them. (I'm not really into that sort of thing from a fetish standpoint or a sadist standpoint, if you could even call it that.)

Being the dick that I was (am), I posted links to them somewhere. Later I got a PM from somebody who offered me 5 XMR to remove the post with the links. I felt kind of guilty about the whole affair so I just deleted the post without taking the 5 XMR. Apparently they were real pictures of him actually peeing on his head!

So that's my story, hope you liked it. I laughed hard when I saw it for the first time in 4 and a half years. If it made you smile, mission accomplished.

Good night WOs.
