Damn hard to sleep now after seeing Bitcoin price and the adrenaline

Surge.

Definitely agree with you, lot of adrenaline this days with BTC

What you think until which price it will grow?

One of two things. 1) I will hodl too long. Or 2) I will panic

dump at a price too low.

Befuddlement is how I roll with Bitcoin pumps or dumps.

That was my first thinking but I wouldn’t even know where to start.
I’m nowhere near selling anything now but I really want to be prepared this time.

I sold my BCH in late 2017. That was quite a lot of money but I transferred it into bitcoin & sold it to a few people on LBC. I don’t think I want to be selling hundreds of thousands of pounds worth on LB in this cycle.

I think LBC would still be a very good option as long as you stick with the biggest traders. I've read of others on r/bitcoinuk who sold 500 grand and more to one person in one go. It would be more sensible to break the sales up but it's likely whichever bank they go to will have kittens.

This is a good point.

Do you really request whether you want to sell/buy before you get the quote? When you do such a transaction in a financial market you always say that you want both the buy/sell price first so the market maker cant take advatage of you. You tell him later if you want to buy/sell.

I hate to get you back "on topic" jbreher, but I would like to confess that I made a bit of a orderbook/laddering/incrementalism "screw up."  

I had some sell orders fill in around the $11,950 price area, so I was resetting my buy orders, and the price was around $11,867, but I was setting one of my buy orders to buy back some of my coins in the $11,200 arena, but instead of typing $11,200, I fat fingered it (typed $12,200), and I accidentally bought immediately at $11,867.  

I know it's fashionable to hate on Coinbase 'round these here parts, but Coinbase will not let you make an order that is on the wrong side of the market. Such as buys for more than market nor sells below market. Rather than rounding to market, it just refuses to book the trade. Has kept me from making similar mistakes in the past. Might be worth looking into.

Edit (21 minutes later):
Problem resolved.  Correction sell order filled.  I reset the correction sell order for $11,982-ish... because there was a little bit of a wall of coins at $11,984, so I wanted to make sure that my orders got filled, instead of getting stuck..... but either way the matter was resolved because the price went up beyond my amounts, and I was able to reset my buy orders back to the original intended amounts
