Guess that guy really crapped out...

He's certainly not playing with a full deck...

They say professional gambling takes balls...

Should have known when to hold 'em...

He's going to be the butt of a lot of jokes...

Using a passphrase nullifies this exploit AFAIK.

I have both wallets, I still like Trezor better regardless... got burnt hard with the Ledger Blue, that thing just sits collecting dust with no support.

Ledger Nano S has been compromised also as shown here. As long as you use a 12 character passphrase Stick has said on /r/Trezor it costs about $1M to bruteforce a Trezor T.

Serious news:

Rising Institutional Investment Setting Pace For Future Crypto Growth

Quote
Oliver von Landsberg-Sadie, CEO of BCB – a financial services group with digital asset specialism, drew comparisons on the various bull runs experienced over bitcoin’s (BTC) lifecycle, with the exception given to this year’s fundamental growth.

“The 2013 bubble was driven by technocrats and dark web trawlers and the 2017 rally was led by the whims of speculative retail traders, 2019’s growth belongs to financial institutions who are diversifying stale portfolios and finally have the professional machinery to do so.”

It’s the institutional money that’s going to take us to heights that we previously may have thought unachievable. Everybody should be invested in bitcoin. If you’re not & you’ve been aware of bitcoin for a while but not invested you’ll live with regret forever.

In case you might be interested, I just got finished reading the ENTIRE 200 page transcript of Craig's court case and wrote up a summary of it here:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5149062.msg51728883#msg51728883

Biggest takeaways:

- Craig is a liar
- Fuck him
- Fuck BSV and anybody who thinks its market cap is not 100% driven by the farce that he is Satoshi Nakamoto.

"Oooh but what about the tech?"

The tech is admittedly based on an antiquated version of the Bitcoin protocol. BSVites celebrate this fact as some sort of achievement.

Also, theymos gets a shout out in 2 different instances... Never knew CSW hated theymos so much... Was worth combing through all 200 pages to learn this sort of thing.

I wonder what happened to all those 'pundits', who in December 2017 came here and told us that the old king Bitcoin is ded and the alts are more advanced and going to replace it? Or those shorter trolls that told us the price above 10K is not sustainable. Hello, where are you?  Bitcoin is doing just great and stabilizing above 11K with the typical for the calm days volume and less and less price drops. We may go sideways for several weeks or months, but this is good. Those who waited for 3 months and didn't buy when the price was under 4K, now regret bitterly. In the same way will regret those who didn't buy at 11K, when the next bull run takes us in the hot zone around the ATH.

theymos doesn’t need the money, I believe he’s around late 20’s to early 30’s & he’s already incredibly wealthy.
Kudos for most likely ignoring large bids for theymos’ account though.

On topic - Very happy to see a bid of consolidation price wise. I do not enjoy high volatility. It’s not great for my nerves.
What we need is a significant period of low volatility now which should ensure we see a significant upwards spike towards the end of 2019.

Edit - I meant satoshi’s account, obviously.

I bet craig has begged to buy Satoshi's account from Theymos (theymos could reset the password for him) how much do you think he has offered Theymos?

I say three cheers for Theymos on denying Craig and his corrupt bribes!

You know he threw tons of cash offers at him and I believe Theymos is a young man (around my age, millions of dollars is hard to turn down at a young age)

Yeah I'd say its a strong possibility. After all, the majority of Satoshi's public communications with the outside world occurred on this forum.
