I would like a lot of things, but grandma tends to refuse to give them to me.

Places like Hong Kong and Singapore aren't real countries.  Singapore imports 90%+ of it's food.  That's a FAKE country.  You have to have actual resources and land to cultivate to be a country.  If you don't, you're by default subservient to whatever the regional power is.  Anyone that doesn't address facts like this when discussing these offshore bank ATMs calling themselves countries has no idea what they're talking about.  The regional power in the neighborhood for them is China, so they're going to be taking orders from China no matter what since they're a fake country.

I don't really understand the article.

Sure they have charts and even discussions of what seems to be bitcoin, but then they seem to be muddied by concepts of crypto and blockchain that confuses the topic.. and even concerning the amount of understanding of bitcoin.

How many in China have lost their lives for protesting? Tiananmen Square anyone? Youtube and twitter etc... might have issues but at least they're available. Are you seriously trying to argue that there's more freedom in China than the west?
