Yes, i see BTC as the digital gold. Maybe all future e-currencies are valued against Bitcoin, why not?
Most people in my environment are dumb, they call BTC a hoax. My brother in law wanted to invest in Bitcoin when it was around $350, and his father talked him out of it, into some kind of fund-based asset (i don't know the english term for this). He called his father an idiot in 2017, of course, but the latter still thinks he was right. This is the second "nearly"-coiner i knew to date. The other one had Bitcoins, but only for Silkroad and the likes. He never held them longer than for some weeks.
When you even talk about Bitcoin here, you are suspect to criminal activity, money laundering or you are seen as a moron who wants to lose all his money. They think it's child play, regardless what the facts are, they always know better. This is normality where i live, i am the megageek. I'm skateboarding at age 40+, i'm living on passive income, so i got that "strange freak that does not go to work" image and most people are intimidated by my presence, excluding very few, close friends and family members.
My mother and my wife are the only persons that know that i got the corn. The average IQ in my neighborhood can't be much more than a weak 90 at max.
A guy like RealRoach would be a respected mayor candidate of the town i'm living in. Time went on, in other parts of my country, not so much where i made myself a home   Roll Eyes

I really would like to know where you are living bro.... Can you give us a hint?

Countryside of Austria, the motherland Arnold Schwarzenegger left because of the limiting stupidity i was writing about.

Fuck work.

If I ever get to get married one day, no way I am letting my kids to be slaves. Fuck that. If I am not going to get what I want, I'd rather die single and without kids.

Entering 8th year as a working man. I know how hard it is to make money by working legit. Fuck this shit.

Got angry Angry

I hear you. I gave up the rat race a few years ago in exchange for my current situation. While I miss the comforts of corporate life (health insurance, having my own place, a steady routine to keep me busy), I don't miss the sound of alarm clocks, bathing in fluorescent light, and having to answer to shit eating bosses.

Now I just kind of float around from place to place, doing whatever I want (within my budget) and waking up whenever I damn well please. I think its healthier to live under your own terms rather than those dictated to you by your boss and society.

One more BTC bull run and that's it. I'll be unemployed, living on passive income just like makrospex.

Merited, but bitcoin does not provide passive income, unless you are into rehypothecation games with blockfi, etc.
BTC is a hard money, but you need to exchange it to soft money to live off of (for now).

That's right. Sadly I'll have to break some bitcoins for FIAT to make that possible. (Depends on the investment, probably all, but 1)

I haven't decided what to do with the (imaginary) money yet. Maybe buying a few flats and renting them away to the wage slaves. The easiest,  o brainer, but a bit disgusting way to do it.

What other passive income ideas have you got? Help me out!

I am starting to think even $1m won't be enough to live free. Maybe I aimed too low. Shoulda aimed for $10m instead. :d Aand its going up, need to buy more before it leaves the surface of the earth completely.

That is what I am doing for almost last two years, before that I used to be working as an accountant even I did engineering course.

Just fuck this world and break all the barriers ahead of you.

Make your money working for you, don't run behind money boss. Cool

https://www.zerohedge.com/markets/real-helicopter-money-2009-china-has-created-21-trillion-new-money-more-then-double-us

"Over the past 10 years, Chinese banks have been on a credit and money creation binge. They have created Rmb144tn ($21tn) of new money since 2009, more than twice the amount of money supply created in the US, the eurozone and Japan combined over the same period. In total, China’s money supply stands at Rmb192tn, equivalent to $28tn. It equals the size of broad money supply in the US and the eurozone put together, yet China’s nominal GDP is only two-thirds that of the US."

I just saw one of my Jewish customers who likes to feed me his secret stock tips by leaning over and whispering.  Roll Eyes One year ago he was talking about BIG returns coming real soon on a special weed stock and how it would be wise for me to invest as much as possible right away.   I told him my spare/investment money goes to BTC and I'm not interested in traditional stock investments.
Turns out he lost quite a bit on weed stocks over the last year but he had another surefire tip for BIG returns for a different weed stock (xphy).  I showed him today's BTC price Smiley
I tried to explain that it's early still but some people just can't be helped.  I'm sure it's better not to have more of this kind of trader in BTC space|.

tldr/  weed stocks no good - orange coin keep going up #HODL

Good evening WO!

Observing BTC@9,633.

Observing an article about Libra  on the flight magazine.
I took a pic of it with compulsory WO sign (didn’t want to vandalise the paper as I am a civilised person):

Not bad for a totally casual article: it even stated there’s nothing in common with bitcoin as it is a permissioned blockchain!

You can stick your Biblical one world currency where sun dont shine. This is Bitcoin forum not Fakebook, dont drink and post.
So you say WO is now officially 666 and no coiner land.

By the age of 37 i got ill, by a four week lasting flu, followed by severe fatigue and brain fog. This was the end of my working life.

Are you sure you didn't take some antibiotics or vaccine during this time period?  Both can mess you up regardless of what people claim.  I got bit by a dog once and got a tetanus shot. They bundle the whooping cough vaccine in WITH the tetanus shot.  After taking it, I couldn't concentrate to read for like a week after.  I go and look up what's in this shot and it turns out the whooping cough seems to be the #1 most dangerous vaccine there is and it's side effect is "brain swelling" LOL.

So I was getting horrible side effects from something I didn't even want or need.  The side effects went away after like a week but it's pretty easy to tell these vaccines all cause varying levels of damage.  Antibiotics are the same too. If you take a high dosage and your body doesn't have a lot of invaders to attack, it's just going to cause havoc on your own immune system instead.  Even if you are sick, your own body is going to take collateral damage.

If only you two schmos knew how the female brain actually works then the saying "You can love women or understand how they work, but not both", would make sense.  The present day man is basically just an insurance policy for the woman - a creature that no matter how void of personality, intelligence, skills, or anything quantifiable whatsoever, will always believe it's life is far more valuable than yours.  You are an expendable work mule servant on a slave plantation who only exists to facilitate the woman's mindless desires.

Women either live as 2nd class citizens with zero rights, or the second you allow them to get a foot in the door, the script is entirely flipped with you existing for no reason than to be their servant.  Trollgoossen's dinner conversation of the future:
