Porsche type 597 Jagdwagen, mid 50s during Swedish tests. We decided not to buy.
But it would be a cool Porsche to own.

Why there are chains in the wheels?

You obviously do not live in a country with snow and ice Smiley
It gives you better grip on snow and ice, there are parts of Europe where you have to have snow chains with you in your car in the winter.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tc1WLvTrjSQ

This kind of question makes me realise how different is Bitcoin community.
I own tire chains, but also  winter tires and I know how and when use both of them.
Someone else lives in places where the sun always shine and there is no winter.
We both love bitcoin.

EDIT:
Note to self: save this image when observing 846,347

Personally I prefer snow socks/auto socks, easier to put on and works just as well, although they wear out fast.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qvPXqLoWaHY
Never used snow socks.
I always use winter tyres (M+S) during winter months and on snow. Put on chains on serious ice on the road or steep climbs.

I use studded tires in the winter, I only use the socks if I get stuck. But just in case, I do have chains in the trunk too.

Ireland is part of the EU.

The EU controls its borders.

If the UK is not part of the EU, then there needs to be border controls between the EU and UK.

It’s like saying the United States is “forcing” Canada to have border controls.
No what I'm saying is when the UK is sovereign and can control it's borders only one party is the one forced to have borders that being Ireland and it's not by their choice possibly but by the EU.
Here's a simpler solution that includes both parties: Ireland leaves the shithole that is known as the UK.

The problem with that is that the government of Ireland cannot admit to its population that it cannot afford to take on the burden of Northern Ireland from the UK (although its currently in the best position it has even been to do so).   Northern Ireland costs the rest of the UK about £7bn a year. Even with the drop on value of GBP that is about EUR 7.7bn.  Irish GDP is EUR 340bn, and at the moment its basically spending neutral so does not have a budget deficit.  Uniting Ireland at the same level of support for the north as the British government supplies Northern Ireland, immediately gives Ireland a budget deficit of circa 2% (which is below the EU limit so that is ok)  and gives Dublin the security and sectarian headache that is Ulster.

Physical silver is not a bad idea. But i like to diversify. I think you can't go wrong if you diversify into physical silver, physical gold and bitcoin.

Now they just "make" diamonds, who knows what other physical rarities are at  risk from clever new science and technologies?

Gold and Silver are elements. They are very hard to make according to 1600 years of alchemy....  Grin

No need for a stallion .... and my HODLnest is already occupied bro

I think JSRAW was referring to fillippone's HODLnest - not yours, Mic. Maybe you can help a good friend feel less lonely once in a while if cryptoqueeen can manage a night alone?  Tongue

is this the first big bakkt warehouse deposit? Smiley

Would be nice rocket fuel if so

the receiving address is also used for other transactions, all transactions are from today: https://www.blockchain.com/btc/address/37XuVSEpWW4trkfmvWzegTHQt7BdktSKUs
maybe it's really the new bakkt warehouse?

You guys thinking small.

Why don't you just buy this?

Big Scrub Island

Let the imagination flow. Buy yourself 6-7 women as well. Breed Constantly. Build your own kingdom and name yourself XXXXX the first, king of the andals and the first men, protector of the realm etc.

Damn thing still hasn't sold. It got the perfect name too. If btc manages to do a 500x run, I am planning to make an offer they can't refuse.  Cool

Would you own all the businesses? or just the island and be their overlord

Is that a shot at my WOW game round? If so, it's completely off.

I read an article in Scientific American about anti-tank weapons that made me think "if a war ever comes and I'm forcibly enrolled, I don't want to serve in a tank." It is a few decades old already, can't even imagine what they've cooked up since. The only practical use of tanks today is in situations like Tien An Men square brutality. I hope it doesn't get down to tanks in Hong Kong.

By the way V8, I don't know you personally and I'm no religious person, but I've been thinking of you and mrs V8 quite a bit after reading your post. Big hug.

Merited by jojo69 (1)

There are a lot of things that are differently taxed in Sweden and Norway, And the Norwegians do smuggle a lot of things to Norway from Sweden, but that is counteracted with spot checks and cameras. Open borders with no wall doesn't mean you are aloud to freely move goods, just people.
OMG. smuggling stuff from Sweden to save on taxes? This sounds grim.

Here's a new round of the WOW (WO-Where?) game. I think it's going to be fairly difficult, at least until a few pixels are uncovered. However, the WO participants have already proven how good at this they are, so it might be cracked earlier than I imagine.

I have 5 smerits as of now, but I'm setting the prize for this round at a conservative 3 merits because I'm sure a couple of merits will go before I'm done catching up.

Here is the update. As you know, i told you that i'm gonna trade between the yellow resistance area and the orange minor support/previous minor resistance. You could trade 3 times already. To buy at the previous charts around 9xxx and sell a small amount of holdings in the yellow area. Then buy when it drops and bounces on the orange area. Then sell for the 2nd time in the yellow area. Buy back for the 2nd time in the orange area and now sell in the yellow area for the 3rd time (not to sell all of your holdings)

The upper trendline is between $11.000 and $11.150. If bitcoin goes to that level it's gonna decide where to move next, break up or retrace agaIN.
