Mining difficulty continues to climb! Im curious to see what it was doing in the bear market and slow recovery in 2014-2016. Bitcoin mining difficulty has been growing 42% PER QUARTER over the last 3 years!
Difficulty is projected to grow 60% this quarter, and it was already at an all-time high when Q2 ended

Good morning Bitcoinland from the lovely Muskoka Lakes of Ontario. September is the loveliest month here. The days are warm but not too hot, the nights are cool but not too cold, and the bugs are gone. The lake water is still fairly warm, the forest floor is dry enough to walk almost everywhere and the wildflowers are resplendent. Best of all, because so many people think summer ends with Labor Day, the place is almost deserted. No screaming kids or drunken yahoos. Life is good.
Meanwhile, the Bitcoin price has taken a wee dip back to 4 digits and we're waiting to unbart... currently $9915USD/$13158CAD (Bitcoinaverage).
The battle for $10k continues. Not too many more weeks until launch time though.
