Maybe I am missing something but that sounds like a variation, not a completely different model

Ok so a bug was found with LN and the bug was fixed?   Is that a fair summary?

Yes. It's more of an implementation bug than overall IMO. Clients weren't properly checking stuff.

Inspired by HairyMaclairy, I fed Excel with some data and generated this spreadsheet. I'm sure it's just noise. However...  Wink If you sold BTC on Tuesday before the expiry of the future and used the fiat to buy BTC on the expiration day (Friday), you could on average buy 2.5% more BTC back. If you used 1 BTC for this kind of accumulation in 2018, this would have resulted in 1.3 BTC by the end of the year. In 2019 (starting again with 1 BTC) in 1.22 BTC so far.

I'm working on a similar spreadsheet for the first, second and third week of the month, let's see what these look like...

Time for my hodl sleep. Smiley

Good night WOs!

Since others are talking about religion and whatever they are wanting.
Just to mention Verlander passed 300 strikeouts to become another joining the 3000 strikeout club and his hot girlfriend Upton was at the game too!  Grin

Just to have something to keep our mind off the dismissal price crypto is in right now. Undecided
Hoping for a better next month ahead!

There appears to be a bundle of evidence pointing to the fact that psychiatric drugs shorten life-span generally. Also and more specifically, neuroleptic malignant syndrome caused by antipsychotics, serotonin syndrome caused by antidepressants, etc., can be fatal. I'm guessing then that the deaths caused by mental illness can be attributed to the medications mentally ill people sometimes take. Side effects, if you will.
https://www.psychologytoday.com/ca/blog/science-isnt-golden/201109/full-disclosure-needed-about-psychiatric-drugs-shorten-life

Antidepressants are evil. I watched 2 of my family members slip away mentally years before the body finally succumbed, all under doctors orders. One got so bad that they started crying at stop lights because the anticipation of waiting for it to turn green was too much. Won't take any pills myself or seek doctor's advice unless its critical.  Its astonishing how many Americans use these things.  The zombie apocalypse is real.

After a traumatic event i was suffering from depression and anxiety, got SSRI prescribed, took them for 10 months (half dose) and reduced slowly for half a year. Every little step down was a two weeks lasting nightmare. I replaced the SSRI slowly with st. johns wort extract, reduced that for another 2 years. All the three years was hard mental work, but i got finally rid of depression and anxiety. I'd never take these pills longer than i really need to.
Doctors plan was to take them for a lifetime. Only for the best of me, i'm sure...  Roll Eyes

Humor, experience, sharing of painful personal stories. OT as the subject is, I'd merit at least jojo69, gentlemand, BlindMayorBitcorn, and BobLawLaw besides makrospex. Don't have enough for everybody, so I'm picking the one who can use it the most: makrospex.

To the other participant gentlemen, here you are. Please have +1 WOsMerit. Thank you.

Good morning, WO,s

If you look at this image with the lowest years and suppose the bottom $7,700 hits, the next ATH is near, there are many variables in the market to affirm this, but now we continue in an upward trend, until the market says otherwise, for the moment, bullish.
The fucking thing is predicting the ATH, complicated, we can end the year at +/- $10,000 or shoot higher and close 2019 at +/- $20K

Disclaimer

Any future prediction is useless, Bitcoin always does what it wants.

I guess it's to be expected with such an immature project (not trying to kick it, just stating the obvious). I'm looking forward to see what will happen when FOMO kicks in and the Bitcoin network gets clogged up. Will LN perform at all? Will it break? Or will it somehow manage to shove a ton of traffic through? People are generally more motivated to learn new skills if they think they can gain an advantage in the race for insane riches. I will be ready with popcorn.

A free service brought to you by the bitcoin community

Whenever there is a significant change in market depth, please update this thread with a new depth chart, and a good price chart with some TA is also welcome, feel free to comment on these if you have something to worth contributing, ( if your post is not at all TA it will be deleted )

Posting guild lines:
Please lets keep this thread clean. ( I will be removing any off topic posts )
Do not post random comments on this thread, unless it is directly related to the last wall update (ex. The 20K ask was was NOT sold into, it was removed after being tested)
 When you post a chart please use bitcoincharts.com, mtgoxlive.com, btccharts.com or bitcoinity.com

as requested, i have started a new thread.
this thread is now a self-moderated topic.
I will try and keep this thread clean, with only facts, current trends, past price movements, depth charts, etc.
I promise to not delete post simply because i do not agree with the bearish TA.

thank you for your input!

We needed more regulation around this bitch.

the rules of this thread is an attempt to keep this thread from having +1000 post when price is doing big moves, and instead relay important indicators during critical moments.
also when the market is more calm we can expect to see wall posts and TA price charts, back to back without any relevant chatting, making easier to analyze.
there are other threads where speculators can discuss their sentiment, just not here...

That 1000+ page thread was getting kinda useless.

How about bitcoinium.com pics? I can never get mtgoxlive to load Undecided

thats fine too,
I'm looking for quality charts or good TA bearish or bullish.

asking good questions example....

Interesting pattern I've noticed. It's been sort of bouncing downwards for the last 4 days. Is there a technical term for this sort of thing?

is also welcome here.

just don't be posting about your "FEELINGS" and you won't get delete.  Tongue

100% agree. my impression is that the game changed in Dec 2017 with the introduction of Futures for BTC. since then the market is not the same as it was before since 2011. the Big Boys changed everything. prediction of the price is much more difficult now because a mighty instrument to short BTC is available since Dec 2017.

New chart: #bitcoin fractal dimension changes over time and seems to indicate phases like bear, neutral, bull. Note how consistently blue turns to green, orange, red and vice versa. And yes we are at the start of a orange/red phase (although it might not feel like it right now)🚀

Daily time frame update for the RSI.

Last time we saw a drop to oversold of the RSI was before around $4,000 and dropping below that area, last year.
So, no more bear powers ? Hmmmm

I share that opinion, let's see what BTC will do next.
Anonymous' $16k@october prognosis may become true (followed by another correction, as usual).

But i also second Gysur's opinion, the market has changed a lot since bitcoin futures were introduced.
I'm sure there will be new ATH but it may not occur following the patterns of the past.

You can't never predict the price of the bitcoin but you can forecast its price using different types of analysis. Its is a reality that the bitcoin is in bear market again after its price breakdown again but we can see that the peice of the bitcoin is currently consolidating in its area of value. Let's see if there are good movements in this following days.
