wow well I could 'listen' to that a lot Cheesy

Those shuffle dancers are hypnotic aren't they? I could even 'listen' to them with the sound turned off.

P.S.: Uh, no, I just tried... they look retarded that way lol

Yeah, weird how they lose all their cool with no sound.

Also weird how that dance has been 'in' for is it 30 years?

Anyway who doesn't like a bouncing bosom

I think this is exactly what drives him.
I am ashamed to admit if I had the money he had when 24, I would have retired to some exotic places or relentlessly travelling the world.
He’s instead running two of the most disruptive firm in the world working 80 hours week.

I’m not ashamed to admit that I would have retired too.

Some people need to be on the go all the time, it’s what keeps him relatively sane probably.

I wonder if I really could retire if (when) BTC hits $100K. It's a nice dream, and I'm sure it'd be nice for a while. But I'm pretty sure I'd go nuts unless I found some kind of project/job to take on.

Designing and building my own house could be one such project. Always quite fancied that... Grand Designs has a lot to answer for.

But if it is settled in physical btc, the manipulation can only go on until payment's due.

They roll over the paper in house.

There's been tons of stuff written on it and actually that deleted vid by that stoner dude did a good job of explaining it if you google the words he used.

the chimp getting deplatformed is a really bad sign

"Retiring" doesn't mean stopping working at all. For me it would be just a milestone in which I have secured enough assets to make sure I can live on that for the rest of my life (unless something really catastrophic happened). You will still need to take care of your money, assets, new projects, etc... It's just that you are financially free now if you don't do anything stupid afterwards.

Some people do it wrong though... And decide to start spending too much or recklessly go into risky business with the potential of being rekt.

Some people are so used to work every day on a regular job that their lifestyle is so much dependent on it that they wouldn't know how to adapt to their new lifestyle AND RESPONSIBILITIES (take care of your wealth in a safe way).

Designing and building your own home (and REALLY time consuming if you want to do it right) looks like a great project to spend some of your wealth, yeah.

Erm, you have to actually leave the EU first, conclude some actual trade deals and then you just might have a clue as to whether an entire nation has committed suicide or not.

If it were anyone other than a bunch of one catchphrase fuckwits in charge the chances might be better but anyone with any actual sense wants nothing to do with it.

One of them was talking up Northern Ireland's prospects after they backtracked on everything they claimed and it turns out there might be a border in the sea after all. They were saying NI will do great because it'll have frictionless trade with the EU.

That sounds like a fucking great deal. Maybe the rest of the UK would do jolly well with something like that too?

I'll take the well researched findings of a respected entity over the ill informed opinions of a man who lives in a bus stop, thank you.
How did you even get internet connection out there?

My bus stop is a carefully informed choice. You'll be in one next year. Mark my words.

Pretty much nothing has been settled about leaving yet. I don't see how anyone can declare anything.

It'll probably be fine in the end. It might have been considerably more fine remaining with the status quo. I'll be living in Svalbard by then anyway.

.....innovate ...
You seem to confuse improvement with innovation.
The AC induction motor as used in pre model 3 is technology dating back to 1887 and was invented by Nikola Tesla
As it is extremely inefficient to take DC power source (battery) run it through a inverter to power AC motor, from model 3 onward the older tech DC motor is used.
Half a mile queue and hours of waiting to get free spot and then hours of charging   https://youtu.be/UqEwLle8xKU

As for the electric car, in crypto term you would call it an "altcoin"

Using this mentality, we could go much further back, to the ancient Greek philosophers and mathematicians... So everyone that followed was/is just "improving" over their theories... Does this sound fair to you?

Both Tesla and Musk can be called innovators. In their own fields and epochs. Putting a theory to good practice isn't a mere "improvement".

I don't know about the findings, but the article you linked to reads like a ridiculous ad for some quackery like radioactive cream or some shit like that.

What is a "lucrative trade deal" exactly ? What will the UK sell in much greater numbers after Brexit than now ? Will it really make sense to buy US food instead of EU food ?

I accept that so far Brexit hasn't been catastrophic, now let's wait till it really happens (end of 2020 is the current deadline, I'm not convinced it will stay that).

Brexit hasn't happened in any capacity at all.

It's true that a surprisingly small amount of UK trade is with America. But America is no one's friend and they won't think twice about raping us and our current politicians will encourage them to do so. The closer we are with America the harder EU trade will be. Last time I looked Europe's a teensy bit closer and shares similar values, or we used to.

Aside from that, I'm looking to cash out some coin. I'd like to use a card to pay for stuff, I can also do with amazon gift cards. Can you recommend reliable services with reasonable fees ? I'm not looking for the most secretive service although that's always good, I'm not going to spend a lot, a few hundreds euros a month at most.

Yes, I need euros.

I use giftoff.com for Amazon cards but that will depend on what country you're in. They seem to do it for most EU Amazons but not the UK any more which is a pisser. Bitrefill charges a premium on them. Giftoff don't.

For cards you've got Wirex or Coinbase. I don't really trust Wirex so Coinbase will do. Both have high fees at about 2-2.5% though.

Now watching "The Mandela Effect". In it, there's a clip with Elon Musk talking about simulated realities. Less than a minute after, a guy does a Google search and a "Should we be Banking on Bitcoin?" banner appears...

See, everything's connected! Enter The Matrix!
