Culture always moves to the left. Just to the left of socialism, we have communism.
The entire west is socialist.
If this were true, it would mean socialism is doing quite a good job then. No. We are living off the wealth that previous generations of capitalism brought us. Like a fat kid spending a huge inheritance on fancy cars and hookers and blow. Speak for yourself. The companies I work for are run by people under 50 or even 40 years of age, who are all self-made. If their income ever came from "previous generations," its because that's been the case of every generation since the fall of Rome. Socialism is not sustainable and a collapse is coming. This is nothing new around here.
Right right, we're always on the brink of collapse. I felt the same way around 2011, and then years went by and the collapse never happened. A collapse is always coming, just like the second coming of Jesus. It's always just around the corner. Unfortunately collapse is a reality. But the fact is the old school capitalist countries are surviving from collapsing by letting/pushing third world countries to collapse. And taking advantage of these poor collapsed countries.

Unfortunately collapse is a reality.
You're misusing the word "reality" here. Something isn't a "reality" until it has happened. You can say its a "certainty," and I would actually agree with you, as everything that ever was eventually collapses, even the universe itself. But the fact is the old school capitalist countries are surviving from collapsing by letting/pushing third world countries to collapse. And taking advantage of these poor collapsed countries.
I agree with you here. The thing is most of the benefit goes to a handful of people, and your average capitalist country citizen (I assume you mean Western country citizen as most countries are capitalist) doesn't really enjoy the spoils,* as they are also being milked by the same handful of people. What is truly unsustainable is the massive flow of wealth to the top 1%, from the poor and middle class to the rich. I would like to think that factor would make revolution inevitable but we have a long way to go before our poor people are uncomfortable enough to take action. So, it may not happen in any of our lifetimes. Will society collapse at some point, for some reason? Certainly. Will it happen within our lifetimes? Probably not. *edit: I suppose we enjoy the spoils in the form of iPhones, diamonds, single-use plastics and cheaper prices thanks to cheap labor sources.

Halving is the nature of Bitcoin, a metaphysical phenomenon that creates its essence and the manifestation of which cannot be found on the surface. Halving is manifested in the fact that bitcoin is growing for a long time. And in the spring you will not see anything special.
Masterluc (or google translate) is just trying to say it's priced in. He's right - price-wise the actual halving day is a non-event.

Sheiiit bro, I'll be set in 10 years if I just HODL the BTC I made for free..
Unless you consider your time having no value, the bitcoin in your pocket did not come for free. You exchanged your time for money, no different than JJG or anyone else. Did you do the math if you would have just worked for dollars during those years day trading (and bought bitcoin)? Have you seen the recent graph LoyceV posted? Additionally your strategy is (way) more risky because of the chance of losing bitcoin in each trade you make + not hodling your private keys 24/7/365. If you are having fun trading and get a feeling of fulfilment doing so, I am happy for you. If you are making more money trading than working to collect dollars, even better. Most however are way better of just exchanging dollars for bitcoin over time (and not run any third party risk).

I am %50 BTC, %50 FIAT right now. Can't decide which way I want it to go. I want it to moon so I can retire early but I want it to go down so I can buy more too. I win either way. Masterluc Vs. serveria Let the game begin! Fight!

Masterluc Vs. serveria Let the game begin! Fight! Over time the price goes up. Better to bet on the long game. I'm already at a point where I can live on bitcoin alone. Another tenfold increase and I'm set for life. It would be foolish to cash out now.

More greater than the graph would be the person to offer this as a service. A 1$ a day sweep, oh boy how that could snowball That's something you can arrange when a brick and mortar bank starts offering crypto services. Paying a dollar (okay a euro for me) per day is easy to automate, I can do it for stock, it would be great to do it for Bitcoin. There's no point in withdrawing a dollar worth of Bitcoin per day, but twice a year would work.

When banks will start offering crypto services ( German banks will start with custody this year, but I am referring to something more sphisticated), we will be ready to o a numeraire shift from fiat to crypto. You won't be investing fiat in BTC, you'll be disinvesting BTC from fiat.

I presume photos like that are supposed to make my sagging johnson show some signs of life. Instead I wind up thinking 'what kind of fucking prick goes rock climbing in the nude?' Comes with age I guess.
