Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

Fellow WO´s, just letting you know - I know you couldnt care less - that I am back after some forced time-out and my first ban here on bitcointalk... Promise I´ll be a good boy from now on! That being said - I have persuaded my best bro and he is now also bitcoin-addicted after being a hater for years. Thats a sign, isnt it. Now even accepting crypto-payments in his online-shop. What did you do to get banned? Oh well... someone reported me for PM AD SPAM... Of course absolutely unjustified! Edit: I have never spammed an "ad" lol, wish I knew who has been so pissed to report a pm I have sent but I havent figured out yet... Of course, I am Greek, dont mess up with us... like Sparta u know... No no, just curious but I ve learned my lesson anyway, lol. Are you planning to retaliate?

Vi? Ed man, MAN ED "Ed is the standard text editor" When we get to the web things get a bit muddier: At that point a lot of money started to be tossed into the whole thing, from a number of sources. By the early 90's Connect had failed spectacularly and was basically gone. So people hopped on the wagon and went to the web. Gopher and WAIS and Veronica got replaced by Web and whatever was the first search engines (WAIS worked on http) and yeah, as things started to seriously centralize (GeoCities, the lumbering dumpster fire that was QuantumLink I mean AOL) the older money started to pile in and as someone else pointed out the centralized nature began to grow. That was the time the net forked a 14 carat shitcoin so to speak. But the real nightmare was when the penny papers returned with ad supported content. Web 2.0 or whatever. That's when it all went to complete and utter shit. Just like it did in the 1800's. I'll stop it with the generation crap because it is more of a mindset than a generation per se. The mindset is what really switched when the first wave of big money came in and layered on the tools that would be used to enslave as opposed to free.

Many younger users have no idea what's going on in their devices. It's like drivers who have to call a mechanic to change their oil. co worker overfilled his oil by a couple quarts, more is better right. 5 quarts is just suggestion anyway. so why pay some flunky. obviously that engine wasnt happy but it was caught in time iirc.

All of these big events are getting cancelled but Vegas is almost entirely based off of tourism right? They might be very reluctant to cancel things there. Hmmmm, this is interesting. Vegas always try to fill their hotels even if that means almost giving their rooms for free. I am wondering if this summer will be good to go there again for mere pennies. I would need to check first if my private insurance would cover a coronavir infection overseas... Those US medical bills can rise fast enough to wipe all your lifetime net worth in a couple months. Decisions, decisions....

Btw freebitco.in just started its own signature campaign. It will last only 4 weeks but they may continue if the results are good. If any of you unemployed hat wearers need some extra coins, you may want to take a look. Pay is not bad too, $60/week. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5230893.0

Hate to break it to you but Jeff (Big Lebowski) Bridges was born in 1949, totally Boomer. Perhaps you should replace him with a picture of Kim Kardashian, born in 1980, totally Generation X. Gen X knows Jeff Bridges as the star man.

Looks like the banks are starting to progress through Kubler-Ross, I believe we are at "anger", soon will follow "bargaining" and eventually "acceptance". https://cointelegraph.com/news/reserve-bank-of-india-to-appeal-supreme-courts-crypto-decision“The Supreme Court may look at the RBI’s review petition but as of now the cryptocurrency platforms can operate in India. Many companies have even gone bankrupt after the RBI’s diktat and they may also look to initiate action in this regard.”
