This thread seems so dead right now, so here's a bit of hopium for you. Hash ribbons buy signal incoming, see 2016-2020 extrapolation:

Also 2013-2017 extrapolation that fits in nicely within logarithmic growth curve and network buy signals. Still on track for $100K by end of 2021.

Buy the growth, long the network:

Bitcoin available in Australia post offices. Smiley

Bitcoin has been available at many post offices in the EU for years -> BTC Post offices

But if you want a real paradise for all crypto lovers come to Croatia and visit BitcoinStore, buy/sell crypto without any ID/KYC in the amount of 15000 HRK (2000 EUR) daily. If even that is not enough, hold your coins for at least 2 years after purchase and pay exactly 0% tax after sale Cool

That's how any coiner should spread the word!  Cool

Is this available also if you hold in your own wallet? Germany has something similar, but it turned out to need to move your coins in a custodial wallet, which sux.
Also, is this available only for Croatians? (one can always hope Grin )

However, the 2k EUR/day should be more than enough for everybody, so, yeah, well done Croatia!

Do you have a source for this? First time i heard about a obligatory use of a custodial service.

You can hold wherever, it's based on the moment of conversion back to FIAT based on the FIFO (First In First Out) method.

So, you buy BTC now, transfer it to any wallet and come 2022, you can transfer the same amount of FIAT you invested back to your credit card without paying a fee. It's the same with stocks.

Well, considering that this is a tourist country that is visited by many, and one of the offices is located on the Adriatic coast, why not take the opportunity and visit a crypto bank Wink

As far as I know, there are no conditions that crypto must be in the custodial wallet, but it is only necessary to prove with documents that 2+ years have passed since the purchase. It is probably only available to Croats, as proof of purchase/sale must be submitted to the local tax administration.

As for the 2000 EUR limit, for a long time it was at 1000 EUR, but it was raised a few days ago - allegedly because a competition appeared that started to offer something similar. But even if you need more than 2000 EUR per day, there is another option to buy gold directly for BTC, and then you can sell the same gold in the same place for cash.

That's how things work for now, but it's likely to change when the new AMLD5 finally takes effect - in this case, the pandemic is working in our favor.

AMLD5, Travel Rule and all the rest of it is what they are planning to use to ruin the party here.
Until it works, it seems paradise over there for coiners.

Why do so many people in here have hats as their avatar

A lot of us are ashamed of our hair loss from years of crazy bitcoin price swings, but not silly enough to try a combover.

I feel like my hat needs an update... hmm maybe it just needs to be thrown in the wash?

You throw away your hat, we throw away YOU. Angry Grin

I didn't say throw it AWAY!  I said throw it in the wash! It's kinda smelly by now.

Washing one's WO hat is neither a recognized nor supported way of refreshing yourself. I see Homer was quick to implement the hat chastity lock which, personally, I feel might have been a bit draconian, then again, desperate times call for desperate measures.
You may dust off your hat, hell, I've even gone for a swim in mine but your hat is NEVER to be thrown in a washer. Hat's don't get dirty, they get loved.

The Habadasher's creed:
This is my hat. There are many like it, but this one is mine. My hat is my friend. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life. My hat, without me, is useless. Without my hat, I am useless. I must wear it true.

We're here for you brother!

When I was a scout I loved my "lemon squeezer", I wore it all the time :

If I was croatian law enforcement, I would put a spy cam on that shop.

I can see several incoming and outgoing transactions in my wallet stuck for like 10-12 hours already. Some of them are even 8-11mb from tip. Why is that? Mempool full?   Cool

Well depends on how much fees you are paying.

https://jochen-hoenicke.de/queue/#0,2h

To get the next block you need to pay around 15 sat/B right now. I assume your fees are below 5 sat/B

Dunno, need to check. I always use the fees suggested by the wallet software (I know I know not economical). 99% it works ok and coins are there in like 1-2 hours sometimes even faster. This time transactions are climbing to the tip up to like 1.5-2mb and them back down to ~10mb.  Grin
