Fucking derivatives are stealing the cap off of bitcoin and people are oblivious to it. they think getting institutional cash is good for the infrastructure nut its a trick to skim off the cap and take the steam out of the movement.

Your guess is as good as mine. However, I can show where masterluc thinks we are in Elliott Wave theory.



We're actually just past the little (2) near my dot. We just began the wave (3).

After we get to....some number, there will be a correction, wave (4). After that, the mother of all bull runs begins, the local wave (5) of historical wave 5. Basically, the blow off top to end all blow off tops.

Then a massive, multi year long bear market. Masterluc previously said he expects a 10 year bear market after the wave 5 top. But we don't need to think about that yet.

Why would they do that? Selling this sharply means losing money.

Volatility always means profit for the exchange, despite of the direction. I am not accusing Kraken to be responsible for the dump. It is just weird that € has any relevance in this game when everybody thinks it doesn’t.

I'm not sure Kraken would gain enough from the fees to cover the loss of such sell. But yeah, who knows?
Although I am European and I care more about the EUR price than USD price, I don't use Kraken. For example Bitstamp also has EUR pair.

And no, EUR is far from irrelevant. Europe do have money, Europe does invest and trade Bitcoin. But for day trade, for example, if one just buys and sells and repeats, the currency doesn't mean anything (so it can be USD, where the volumes are higher).
Keep in mind that Europe is also more than Eurozone and most have to convert the earnings anyway into their local currency. This doesn't mean the orders cannot be calculated in Euro and converted afterwards to the equivalent USD price.

...Or maybe I just over-complicate everything

Isn't just wishful thinking by chance? I mean that you have that specific candle only on the 3-day chart and it looks wonderful in all other charts, including the more usual 1-day ..

I dont know. Back when the Bitcoin was at $ 1K, he claimed that the Bitcoin would see the $ 14K and I didn't believe him. What happened ? Bitcoin did a lot more. He also predicted the crash down to $3K.

I dont know. Back when the Bitcoin was at $ 1K, he claimed that the Bitcoin would see the $ 14K and I didn't believe him. What happened ? Bitcoin did a lot more. He also predicted the crash down to $3K. 

I remember him dumping his whole stack in the mid $300's on November 02, 2015. Two days later it mooned up to $500.

Maybe full moon cycles would be as reliable. Today happens to be a full moon,and the price has mooned above $11k.

Hodling is much safer than making gambles based on lines on charts, or full moon cycles.
