I ONLY visit the WO thread on bitcointalk.org. I always have a tab open on WO thread. If they delete WO thread, they delete bitcointalk.org for me. WO members are the real bitcoiners. No fake shit and bullshit like on reddit and twitter. I don't read this WO thread to post for some merit, otherwise I could have been Legendary a long time ago. Been on this site since 2011, only registered in 2013. Who gives a fuck about merit when you have bitcoin.

If nobody gives a fuck about merit they would have had no problems with disabling merit on this thread  Roll Eyes

If you're not getting any merits from this thread, then you don't really have a problem, right? Unless you give a ...

You can ignore merit and just mind your own business. Nobody would have a problem with that.

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

yep, our cover is about to blow. they will soon know that we are actually only 4 methheads in a Luton basement with 20 alt accounts each. I told you that this obvious attempt to gain those precious merits will fail. soon we will have to revert back to painting road signs.

SwayStar123, I read your thread about WO and about your frustration with posting your TA here.

I can't speak for the others, but if your TA is truly backed by something other than wild ass guess then personally I would welcome it here. Perhaps in the past if you were posting bearish TA out of the blue, then it might have been taken as a bit of trolling. A non-biased, no agenda look at TA would likely be most welcome.

Also, many people that hang out on the WO thread are unapologetically pro-BitcoinTM, many OGs and maximalists here. So if you are not in line with that, tread lightly.

I locked it myself, because someone actually gave me constructive criticism for once, instead of just telling me to fuck off. It appears I was looking at the wrong figures, though i think 14% is still too high its not high enough to warrant much action

You know what? Because you started a pertinent discussion that went for 7 pages over the course of only a few hours and have also demonstrated a willingness to be reasonable, I'm gonna go ahead and help you rank up, even if it somewhat ironically furthers your conspiracy theory about the merit flow being overabundant in WO. You've been here for a while so I think you deserve it.

I'll need to add one more box to the checklist for my form:

☑ Unexpectedly demonstrated a willingness to be reasonable

Also maybe this one:

☑ Drunk meriting

2 shots of whiskey before bedtime loosened me up

number go up feel nice

There are a thousand other threads where you can do that and get a higher probability of someone else out there clicking on the +merit button.

You don't just go on the internets to get feel good validation, it doesn't really work that way. Have to lower your expectations.

There is a price to pay to get merits, and there is no guarantee that you will even get any. That cost is time and posting everywhere else but here.

If you are going to post here, you would do well to get a feel for what is acceptable here by reading a few dozen or hundred pages back and see how it goes.

Think of this as migrating to a new country. You apply for your visa. You intend to live there. You intend to work there. You have to get along and have the same cultural experience. You have to stop complaining and accepting what it is to be there. You have to fit in.

Otherwise, you won't, and you'll suffer, and not get a job (if you were looking for one) and go broke. A lot of people who wanted to come to America or USA or Canada or Australia or England or Singapore ... they don't really make it and go back to their original countries. They tried to change a system, when what they should have been doing is change themselves. You have to work hard and blend in. Or find out a place or group there where you can do it.

Thank f***k for that.
Who knows what snarky shit I woulda posted there tonite after having a few.....

Hey Sway, I commend you for standing your ground even though I don’t agree with you.
My post that triggered your thread was somewhat tongue in cheek (most of mine are) but there is truth in jest.
Interesting thread.
Added bonus...you got some merits outta the deal.

@SwayStar123
I think you should deserve to be merited these days because you were able to let us forget about the big picture here. You were able to let us forget the recent small dump and make sure that our respectable fellow WO people went on commenting your threads (and merit you).
I wonder where is JJG when you need him most.

It's actually around ~10% of merits over the last 30 days and ~7.5% all time. Which may seem high for a single thread but this thread has (or at least had before abobcalypse) probably 5-10% of all non-bounty non-shitcoining posts in this forum. I can't be bothered to verify that last claim so I'll just declare myself correct.

Here is my latest Price Orientation Oscillation Prediction analysis. I hope some find it helpful. Consistent with the mathematical trend of the last ~3 years, this looks like another great price point to strongly short with high leverage. I have confirmed this analysis with the strongest science available so far.

Apology for the messy chart, but the bright white channel is what im currently looking at, i longed at the support, bottom of channel, thinking we could go up to 10761 and get a rejection from there now

I like the dotted blue lines much better. Those proof that you actually got it:  bitcoin value goes up.

Ironically i have gained more merit by bashing this thread than by participating in it, but I can admit i was wrong now

Just for fun, because this thread is mostly nonsense anyway, but all bitcoin and everything.

+1 merit due to your humility. now send it back. LOL. j/k, I don't care about merits. I was around (and so were many others) before it existed. The forum is still the same forum.

Nice chart. I personally don't know how to interpret such charts, the basic stuff applies = buy and buy until you die. hodl.

I disagree. This analysis looks mathematically correct in the down direction from what I can confirm.

Of course. I have confirmed this with multiple proven sources and perfect maths and science analysis, so it's as confirmed as anything can be in this universe.
