Don't know if you were tracking the BTC/SXP correlation, it was really high for a while.

In the last few days it detached, BTC flew higher while SPX is crashing. Good for hopium while we're waiting for the highest BTC monthly close in its existence.

I don't find it so surprising. Male between 25-50 years old, employed, living in the city and with a tolerance for risk would be the most typical profile of a bitcoin investor.

It is quite similar to the one who buys shares in the stock market or who does all the banking from his mobile.

100k? Dont even know what to do with such money lol... I live a minimalistic lifestyle. Prefer to rent apartments instead of buying. Because I travel often and live in that target country couple months. Expensive cars, a villa, a speed boat etc... All that just does not interest me... Traders will always find a way to 'take profits'. Based on my ovservations of the market, here how it is done:

1. Buy some shitcoin.
2. When BTC starts mooning, wait until your shitcoin is down 40% vs BTC and then sell it for BTC.
3. When BTC drops 5-10% against $, sell BTC for $.
4. When the shitcoin  is up 40% vs BTC, buy with your $'s that shitcoin.

For me?  At least some of it was luck   If I was that smart I'd have had a LOT more of it...  But I ain't complaining!

Next difficulty retarget is ~ November 2, 2020.
