I try to get into nice paying campaigns (and dreaming of the chipmixer one) and doing that leads you to look at the profile of other members, clearly there are spammers/shitposters with thousands of merits. I'm not saying all my posts on the forum are merit worthy but to get in the thousands, sometimes with accounts barely a couple years old, and not participating here, there is clearly some merit farming going on. I mean some of them can barely string an English sentence together.

Hear hear. I'm here not only to learn but also to have some fun. So really, you can't expect every post to be of literature quality. I don't think that's what expected. It's immediately clear if someone is posting relevant stuff (even memes can be relevant - especially in the WO ) or plainly spamming useless brainless stuff adding no value to anyone on this forum... As for the campaign, I'm happy with the one I'm in. Manager is chasing spammers as much as he can and there are no restrictions on which boards I can post in. Before this one, I was sig-less for almost a year, which can feel like a liberation, too, from time to time.

If the whispers are to be believed,  outgoing Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin is preparing to tamp down on one of the fundamental tenets of the cryptocurrency ethos: the ability of the individual to hold their crypto (unmolested) themselves.

Just woke up after a good nights sleep (and all of am) And all I can say is SHEIIIT!

I rather have a +30% correction for some weeks or even months with ATH not being hit in contrast to a scenario where price would have fomo´d up to $23k-$25k and then taking a nose dive to $16k.

if this correction is of a regular kind (regular for btc price swings  ) it will take just long enough for people to start thinking btc painted a double top and will never go back that high. when folks are expecting the bull is finished it will start.

enjoy this correction. if we are lucky it will give us some weeks to relax. think about the (positive) stress that is looming next year. we can only hope for some weeks of sanity in our lives. when the bull run of this cycle really gets going we need strong and calm nerves. get all the non btc related stuff done now. let's take a breather here. this is fine.

When the CEO of Coinbase announces something like this, then it must provoke a reaction - and it seems that Trump and his administration plan to make as many stupid and harmful moves as possible before leaving their comfortable chairs in the White House. I just wonder why they waited so long if they had it in their plans, unless of course they were convinced they would win the election.

Personally, I'm not surprised by anything that comes from the US - after all, it's the largest democracy in the world.
