The block chain is the main innovation of Bitcoin. It is the first distributed timestamping system.

OT: In what fucking universe does it make sense that the NASDAQ is up (not down) +25% from its start of the year, during the worst economic crash since the Great Depression?

Seriously??

The NASDAQ didn't just beat some inflation number for the year. UP 25 fucking percent, folks. And it's up +50% from Nov 2019.

Incredible. Average Joe zombies are asleep or flat out ignoring reality.

Based on math and science, I believe we can safely say that the current correction has been caused by the fact that Fucking initially considered changing its name to Fudding.

It makes sense, USD printed in 2020 is about the same percentage (I found 21% and 26% quoted in media but I don't know how really and I am too lazy to count the current circulation), so I read it as NASDAQ having the same value as at the start of 2020, only USD devalued by ~25%.
(^ quite naive attempt at science and maths stuff but still..)

It's not the assets that gained mostly, it's the fiat that lost. In a traiding pair there are always two variables and I am trying to make the point that the USD part goes down, not the other half up.

What worries me is that we should adjust Bitcoin ATH to the same percentage.
19,995 US$ in fall 2017 is not the same as 19,995 now. We should count (reported) 22% more = 24,393 US$ before we scream CCMF next time.

BTC off the lows.

Nothing dramatic, but bears are low on ammo it seems.

I would expect another test of $16,300 at some point but this rally has been ... well ... different  Roll Eyes

Don’t be out of coins I would say.

Hi.

Edit: Got a message from a friendly user that I exhibited poor OPSEC by posting that photo with the price. If you ever need a good Cardiologist in Dallas, Baylor doesn't suck. I'm a public, non anonymous persona, so, not worried about minor gaffs like that. My Twitter account is available in my bio, for example. Will keep it in mind for next time. Thanks, person who PM'd me. Appreciate it. Pretty friendly place here. I should try to hang out more.

Yes, we should, but who cares? It's all...semantics. ATH is an ATH, albeit of lower value than the previous ATH. Temporarily!

Where we're going, we won't be using percentages, but orders of magnitude and log-scales!

Unfortunately the "stock market" is not really a market and hasn't been since 401k's came to the fore. Since everyone is invested to the hilt for retirement it's now "too big to fail" and is just another government subsidized program (with debt of course)

Which had the interesting side effect of making a lot of "rich" people "richer" and allows for an amazing amount of grift and fraud. What's not to like?

Not much to go on here, except the weather and the time. I guess that's the sea, and considering the time, I'd say US east coast. Florida perhaps?

congrats...
low-end and gaming, tho...a decent card alone costs quite a bit these days.
I never buy full computers (PCs) anymore-tinkering with GPUs made me proficient enough so I can build them better than buying (for cheaper).
I do buy macs,  Grin.

true, nobody to be seen in regular retail, but I am going to microcenter tomorrow to pick up my components for a build, we shall see...there is always a line there.
