That's one of the reasons why the coronapocalypse has been good for bitcoin: internet infrastructure remains unaffected, yet people are trapped inside, fearful of germs and human contact. Nothing better to do than figure out how to use bitcoin. Seems like a lot of people did just that.

Without internet, however, you basically own zero bitcoins or its equivalent in fiat. So whatever end-of-days scenario people want to envision I hope it includes functioning internet.
