Observing upward value motion in the BTC ocean.

A couple decent sell walls in close proximity.

Magic 8 ball says we go sideways a few more days.

Sideways it is.

People are entitled to believe whatever they want to believe.

You're an atheist ? Good for you. I have no problem with that.

Another person is Jewish ? OK.

That person over there a Moslem ? Fine by me.

So long as you're not pushing your faith on people, and make it a focal point of discussion for any length of time, I'm largely indifferent to whatever anyone believes. The Bible and Jesus were a set of building blocks that instilled traditional, good moral values, and I'm appreciative of that, in retrospect.

Now, if you're a Scientologist, Mormon, or Jehovah's Witness, I have nothing but the highest contempt for you.

Satanists are some really strange folk, but it's curious how most everyone of those I have met, are actually pretty affable, if not a bit soft in the head.

Sheeeiiit

It's not so bad, we were at $15350 thirty days ago.

Maybe not, but I'm waiting for a break up over 20 000 USD and the darned thing keeps going in the opposite direction.
So far I'm not particularly excited, it feels like " been there, done that" for me, I think above 20k is my jippi! JA! äntligen! (yippee! yes! finally!) moment.
Lets hope for a happy weekend.

You are coming off as overly anxious about ONE price direction...

as if you are too emotionally invested.  or over invested, perhaps?

What would happen if we were to correct back down to $12k?  or even lower?

It's not out of the question or even unusual to have those kinds of corrections in bitcoin, even in a bull market.  Hey a correction to $12k would be 40%.

It's not like we are guaranteed UPpity, merely because a bunch of institutional players seem to be getting citteeee bout bitcoin.  Sure, I prefer UP also, but we are still in  no man's land and really have only touched lower $16k once quickly, touched lower $17k quickly.. dabbled in the mid $17ks for a while.. but still nothing really unusual going on at all to be playing around here for a while... maybe we go up.. maybe we go down.. cannot really know for sure, even if the odds seem to remain slightly in favor of UP, especially when we are in no man's land.

FWIW, I kept my order for $500 @ $17,550 open.

If it fills, I'll probably go on a degenerate buying spree again.

One of the problems is that there is even a BIGGER imperative for anyone who somewhat knows about bitcoin is to NOT be waiting for such ridiculously extreme kinds of corrections before beginning to buy BTC.  Therefore by the time BTC prices reach $12k, if such a thing were to happen, the buyer may not have a lot of fiat remaining for buying.  Been there several times, and it is not a BIG deal in my thinking because in my thinking it is way the fuck better to be stacking all along even if I have to buy BTC at a higher price rather than waiting for some pie in the sky price that has odds quite against it from even coming close to happening.

Even though any of us would like to do the later thingie-ma-jiggie, the reality of the matter is that the former thingie-ma-jiggie is what ends up playing out, because in the end, the vast majority of successful people (maybe even all) are NOT big gamblers... so they do not wait for a BIG down that might not happen...

By the way, don't get me wrong.  We do tend to let the price come to us... so we do not rush it.  We plan ahead and then we let the price come to us... sure every once in a while for funzies we might throw a bit extra at her on a BIG swing downwards, even though that was NOT part of the original plan.
