According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

Is she the CEO of something? Maybe an investment fund? Just asking. If so, I can guess how she got there.

I don’t know her and, frankly, prefer to keep it that way  Kiss

Yes I can see that.

Writer, speaker and general pundit. Wrote a book about QE. Currently writing a book about banking. Sings a bit too.
Always right, never believed.

She forgot to mention "arrogant as few".

Someone ought to tell her that's NOT how you're supposed to use a microphone. That's not "singing", madam! Ehmm...
Luckily it was a sturdy MD421. Quite a big mic.

Not stated in the article, but several residents had corona in the weeks before Sinterklaas visited. He may very well have been infected there instead of spreading the infection. It has been know for a year that ventilation systems in care homes, schools, etc. are particularly good at spreading covid19.

Happy New Year all you old world folks.

Here we still have over 4 hours to wait but I squeezed us some fresh limes and made us some Margaritas in honor of international time.

Salud!

She is an economist and Coindesk columnist.

I started writing a post defending her but then deleted it after doing some further reading and concluding that she is indeed an idiot.

I can understand Coindesk, often full of garbage. But the Economist?? She really must have hidden skills.

Can she subdivise fees while she's at it ? Because owning some sats will not help if it still costs thousands to use them.

"Never mind the bollocks"  Cheesy
I just shot some sexist humor at her, after making sure the "humor" part was deserved. As for the NPC sexism... the world is a cruel place, more so if you're an arrogant idiot.

"General pundit"... that bit triggered me. In the quality of a "General" pundit, could you please summarize "General Relativity" for us without using superior math? All right, I agree it's too hard a question. You're allowed to use complicated math if you really need it.  Tongue

Oh the BS on twitter...
