$32k is the lowest we go; this is a dump for ants Nice! Every time I think to give you a merit, I'm out. I can't seem to hang onto those things. IOU. Merited the original post for you. Thanks, Bob EDIT: What an afternoon. I hope we hit the bottom, now. Funny correlation to some popular shitcoins, rising against BTC while it was dipping, then falling once the Bitcoin dipping recovered. Looks orchestrated, but what do i know

Triple-tap order for $31k still in play. Just added my first $500 order for some dip if we get down to $29,500. Will then need to load up more powder if we drop that low.

Yep, the MSM is always right on top of it when reporting negative Bitcoin news. Two-day bitcoin sell-off wipes out $100 billion from the entire crypto markethttps://www.cnbc.com/2021/01/21/bitcoin-btc-price-falls-wiping-off-100b-from-entire-crypto-market.htmlAnd of course their favorite word "plunge" shows up several times. "However, skeptics worry that bitcoin is just another market bubble waiting to burst. The cryptocurrency is known for its volatility — it skyrocketed close to $20,000 in late 2017 before plunging the following year."
Yes, before plunging to ~31k right now! Ya hear that Average Joe, stay away!
Indeed, careful!

Excellent explanation (as always) by Andreas Antonopoulos. Thanks Wekkel. Well thought out. You know how FUD works, it addresses the weak and uneducated. This is why education is SO important, in this world of ever growing complexity. What's happening? People were uneducated and easy to control in the darker ages, until just a few hundred years ago (at least in the more wealthy places on earth). Now TV, followed by social media is "educating" people, while the classic educational system is degrading. Good old superstitions on the rise again. People in first world countries who can't really speak or understand their mother language, and all the social consequences. "Idiocracy" became real already. Those who know have a choice: Use their educational advantage for good or not. It's just that the problem (miseducation, actually a word with more than one meaning) is so dominant already, there's little chance to turn it back. We're like degrading to apes again, as it seems.

Even if we haven't seen the bottom as nicely as in the pic provided by Bob, I think there's enough degenerate buying pressure waiting just a couple k away - say, under the psychological $30k threshold. Any wandering beyond that is going to get swallowed by retail and institutional investors alike, with retail making more immediate noise with the spot price. Just hodl and get moar on the dips if you have excess toilet paper fiat. Sorry for the mistake, toilet paper isn't quite as valuable as fiat money anymore. It used to be in March, remember?

For the weak hands: So long, and thanks for all the dips

Ugh why don't someone create anti Faketoshi legal fund already, and hire full time attorney, i'm sure greyscale/coinbase can spare $1MM/yr . How is he still relevant is beyond me. Bitcoincore devs that decided to bend over in just 2hrs, leaving others to standup by themselves, should be left to coding and removed from any legal decisions.

I bet the MSM could publish complete nonsense articles with headlines like "The Bitcoin blockchain actually caught fire today, sending the price plunging" and there would be a FUD dump. Also, how many double spends occur regularly on the dollar fiat blockchain? I bet a lot, lol. It just goes to show how powerful information can be/is. Control information and you control the world. Education is the key.
