Bought a new car today, not quite a Lambo, Bugatti or Tesla, but very happy with it. Drives like a kart. 2 Litre petrol from 2008. Thank you BTC!

Nice Congrats  Grin Grin Grin
Bought me a new candy also  Cool

GR Yaris? Nice, how is it? I've heard they're fucking rockets! Nearly bought one but just didn't; waiting on the 400Z

Si  Grin Cheesy Wink
Well, the GR Yaris HIGH PERFORMANCE reminds me of a car i always wanted to drive in my active racing days. To keep it short, it is the base for a rally car, not a track car, so keep that in mid before thinking about a purchase.

Secondly, on a twisty mountain road it is superior, thanks to the VERY good mechanics in the suspension, steering, weight distribution and drive train WITHOUT any electronically assisted systems, so the base is very healthy. Especially the brakes are -compared to other cars in the same niche- marvellous. Didn't have any outage though giving them hard times on mountain roads  Grin Cheesy Wink
Friend of mine has a braked 400hp EVO VII and after he couldn't catch up on our living room stage (some 16k's up to the italian boarder) he was smiling and angry at the same time (hence tight corners can be easily handbraked without the need to push the clutch)  Grin Grin Grin
Before you ask, yes i was on the dyno last friday and had 263,2hp@6515rpm with 392,8N-m@3966rpm. In my opinion the best range is between 3000 and 5500rpm, so you have best momentum  Smiley
On 01.05 i will be on the race track to see how it does there, probably pissing off some Porsches  Shocked
The two thing, that are annoying, is the seating position hence i am 190cm+, so that is a bit a pain in the ass, but i already have an appointment with my upholsterer to lower the seating staying legal. The second thing is the pedal position, to wide appart, so to double-clutch i have to do that with the heels and not with the rist or toes  Roll Eyes
I wouldn't call it a rocket with the power it has, in my opinion the gear ratio is to long, so could be a bit more shorter -although i reached 206km/h GPS on a bumpy and cornered mountain road- to have a better acceleration out of corners, but overall on the motorway i already earned some thumbs up with this "little" hot hatch  Wink

Overall, very good car in the base, for a sporty drive enough power, momentum and very good mechanics. If you want to go racing, you have to do a lot for making the driving accurate (seating position, pedals, steering and shifting) but for the money you need to spend, it is a bargain offer  Grin Grin Grin

What are you going to do with your 400Z

Yeah it definitely seems a fun car, especially if you keep it on the boil in the twisties. As for what I'll do to the 400Z, probably not a lot. Just light mods, nothing crazy as the wife will drive it too and it will likely be our daily driver. I've already got a stupidly modified GTR for going fast around a race track. That's not to say that the 400Z won't see a few laps in its time either haha

Nice  Cheesy Wink Smiley
Well i argumented the Yaris with the ISO-FIX for the baby seat, so she is afraid of driving the Yaris, but she likes it, so my house hold is lucky  Grin Grin Grin
GTR, nice  Tongue Which model do you have  Roll Eyes I suppose you have modified it quite heavily if you are on the track with it --> pics and specs  Cool Grin Grin Grin

It's an R33 GTR, I'd post pics but I have none on this PC. As for mods, easier to list what I haven't done but basically head work, cams, turbos, injectors, ECU, upgraded gearset in gearbox, clutch, brakes, running E85 fuel, the list goes on. Makes about 400awkw and goes like a shower of shit haha

Nice, nice  Grin Grin Grin
Sounds like a propper track tool  Roll Eyes Cool Shocked Cheesy Wink Wink Wink

This is the chart of the amount of BTC held in the unmentionable exchange wallets.

For the last 24 hours the reserve decreased with another 12K BTC's.

The price theoretically can't stay below 100K for 2 years, otherwise after 2 years the traders will have nothing to trade with. And this practically means that 100K can happen in a matter of weeks. #provenbymathandscience

Edit. Only a n00b trader can see a double top with a consolidation in the 57-61K area for nearly 10 weeks. This is the opposite of what happened in 2017. Then the reserve increased with over 1mil BTC's in a matter of 3 months. And that wasn't the hodlers BTC's. Remember Wu, Ver and co. converting about that amount BTC's for their shitcoin? The good news is that this will never happen again, hence the hopes/fears of some for a similar development are vain.

I'd welcome that, but i doubt it a little because derivatives are in play now.
They seem to keep down the price, but their effect will be meaningless when liquidity will be crunched.
I think it will happen, but not in the scope of weeks, more like around Q3/Q4.

Not meant as a criticism of you Dude...

But I have to admit...  I was stunned when Taleb went haywire concerning the corn.  He's a pretty smart guy who as written some powerful books.  Then again he's also human.  His Covid warnings have been a little over-blown.

At the same time... it just feels wrong him not getting it.  Because either he really does not get it, or he knows something all of us don't.

I am betting an ENORMOUS sum on the former, lol.  But it feels a little like it would feel if you were in a hand with Phil Ivey and you made the bottom of a straight flush on the river.  You bet solidly and then Ivey come over the top all in staring you down with those weird wide crazy eyes.  And you KNOW you got him beat... it's EASY to shove it all in...

But... it's Phil Ivey... why would *he* be doing this?!??

Hundred of other idiots have said what Taleb said, and we all go phhhttthtpt.

But the reason I think the Bitcorn Twatter community is attacking him so hard is most of them worshiped him, and it scares them that *HE* could be so wrong.

It's still a very easy call though... and I am going to be proud to have some TALEB chips in my stack. Smiley

Very nice said... I do respect talen previous writings a lot, but I just lol’ed with the meme... was just a funny one, I know the dude is smart only pity he went off at some point with bitcoin

I just wouldn’t believe it’s because he sold and is bitter/salty that the corn went up hard afterwards
Then again why would he sell...

The thing that mostly was wrong isn’t the selling but spreading some bad words over bitcoin, he’s to smart for that but then again he’s just human as you say

I don't like chartbuddy, I just find it irritating.

But make a poll and we will see, if it comes out positive, then make another one after a month and see if people still like it.
I think a lot of new people in here have no idea what it is and how annoying it was.

What a fucking grinch! Wink

#16: CENSORSHIP...AND THE COMPLETE ABSENCE OF SCIENTIFIC DEBATE

Nothing  personal to all of you guys hoping vaccination will solve all problems but... if anyone of you @experts@ could trash this piece of work would be highly appreciated .

I was almost ready to get this vaccine but somebody sent me this link yesterday afternoon.

https://www.deconstructingconventional.com/post/18-reason-i-won-t-be-getting-a-covid-vaccine

Do your own research and decide either way.

This article is an advertisement to encourage you to subscribe to the website's dubious health program through promoting fear and ignorance.
While the writer has already been vaccinated.
A first grade kid could trash all 18 lame excuses.

If there was an article '18 reasons to ditch Bitcoin' would you sell?
Likely you would research who was behind the article and their motive.
(Like Oh yeah Craig Wright sponsored the article to dis Bitcoin and promote his shitcoin or Big Corporation X wants an in to Bitcoin and needs to get your coins at a cheaper price etc.)

My healthy 32 year old daughter non smoker, organic diet, active outdoor pursuits, caught Covid and spent 8 days in hospital seriously ill. 2 months on she still has some mild symptoms noticeably poor sense of smell and taste plus minor fatigue.

Her ordeal made it an easy decision for me to get vaccinated.

I'm in the same situation, my house is full of stuff, need somewhere to store it.

Just buy a second house.

That is one of the options I'm looking into.
I'm starting to not like my current house so much, the neighborhood has changed too much since I moved in 22 years ago. Back then it was a paradise of solitude and tranquility in the perfect environment. But unfortunately a millionaire bought the old farm across the street and built a whole complex of stables and a big equestrian facility with fans that's just loud enough to be irritating but not loud enough to be illegal. It used to be farmland with an old farm a bit up an old dirt driveway.

I remember observing the 30K wall and thinking the chart was malfunctioning, there is nothing on that scale now, a 150 ant sell wall is enough to force the weak to dribble coins below that price into the wall owner's buy orders.

There sure are some well thought out ideas and posts to be read here and some entertaining posts to pass periods of market inaction. A few recent periods nearly warranted a tumbleweed .gif or two.

I see we are almost back to where we were a month ago, but this time we moved up slowly in small increments.
That's a good sign, it's more likely to stay stable that way and hopefully keep on slowly climbing up in a more sustainable way.
Although those 4k spikes does give you a nice rush.

Bitcoin shy of breaking out, but still ascending.
End of month there is a future expiry. Maybe last time to buy "cheap", or already too late.
