BTC.com just started signaling! That adds another ~12% hashrate. Anybody aware what is the stance of Binance Pool and ViaBTC?

I think Binance will be the last to go, if they go at all, I suspect that Binance is anti-bitcoin. We just haven't seen that confirmed yet.

The Binance & Coinmarketcap tag team wearing the Bitcoin colours, but owned by the Central Banks, the irony.

I will mention Elon Musk for the last time in this post. I started doubting his sanity when he made very controvesrial statements about Covid-19. He quickly gained the title CovidIdiot. Later he admitted he has asperger disease. The same as the infamous Greta Thunberg. It seems they both share the same views regarding saving the planet. A few months ago, I started reading more about asperger syndrom and I discovered that a good, but a very annoying friend of mine has the same symptoms toghether with a bipolar disorder. He looks almost normal, but has some stubborn habits and is unable to understand sarcasm and how his behaviour hurts other people. At the same time he has both a poor working memory and ability to learn by heart hundreds of pages of his favourite novels. Go figure! So on the one hand he looks clever, but on the other is an imbecile. The same can be applied for Musk. His habits, naming of the child, delusions about covid, and now Bitcoin are completely expected from such a guy. He is complete n00b regarding blockchain and never tasted the bitterness of shitcoins going to 0 because of devs exit scam. What he can't understand is that the doggystyle shit may turn into an exit scam at any moment or at least suffer 95% crash. Then his battery car will be priced as a child's toy. And really, are bitcoin miners building plants on coals? Of course, no! So these plants will work regardless bitcoin. And besides miners prefer to use green energy which is cheaper in many regions. But the aspeger guy is an imbecile in some respects. You can't change him  Grin Grin Grin

Elon just showed the world how retard people got. How sheepy people got. How the masses lost the ability to use their brain and think on their own. News, politicians and celebrities are peoples new religion. If some politician or scientist would say "stick your finger in your ass while you fart, it will safe the environment" and they would make it big on CNN and NBC, 95% would follow the advice. We are pretty lost as humanity. 0.01% run the world and control the masses and their strongest tool is mass- and social media. And anybody who asks questions is a right winged Nazi. And the masses are so programmed to destroy the people who ask real questions.

Which dev?
Dodge market cap went up with $10B after this tweet.
Blocked this idiot i don't care anymore.
So it’s officially Elon vs BTC now...Huh
Exactly what developers is he working with? Some fantasy right there. Roll Eyes

Was wondering why he dressed up as the reverse hero last week on that attempt at trying to come off as funny but failed miserably.
So now this post is a bit more relevant from the last two tweets put out 24 hours ago from him:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5336007.msg57002173#msg57002173

No wonder he dressed up as Wario..
I thought it was a bit weird at first but it seems like he was just mocking us at revealing who he truly is and that being:

I still get the sense that your "gut feelings" were likely just coincidences

That's the essence of SOMA!

I am not aspiring to, or asking for, soothsayer status. Some of my gut feelings must necessarily solidify into reality, or they could be used as an inverse predictor - which would in turn grant me soothsayer status, albeit with a negative correlation coefficient.

That's why I first felt a pump for bull ants to ~70+k (around 72, I think I said), then when the pump wouldn't come, started worrying about bearwhale activity intended to suppress my totally legit expectation. A broken clock twice a day, like. No?

I'm quite surprised by recent developments regarding Elon Musk's support of DOGE. I don't know if this is part of a deeper plan, or just a symptom of a billionaire's Asperger syndrome. Contrary to most opinions here, I still admire him for his Tesla and SpaceX work. It doesn't make much sense to me, for him to act the way he did recently, although naming his child X Æ A-12 did raise a few flags. Who knows, maybe there are things at play here that we are not aware of. The coming weeks and months will be very interesting.

Now, suppose Elon just wants to maximise his wealth, and knows that his tweets can cause such havoc. Isn't it obvious that he would be tempted to play the market the way he did? It's all nice and good to have high morals and "do the right thing", but when potential $billion profits are at stake, then everything becomes fair game.

Regardless of Elon's narcissism, Asperger's, sociopathy, greed, or whatever else is in his brain, this experiment just shows how easy it is to manipulate the cryptocurrency market, and even King Daddy can be affected. I don't like it, but that's how things work for now. I'm not worried about Bitcoin's long-term performance, I'm fairly certain that this is just an outlier on the steady upward trend that's going to continue for a very long time. Glitches like Elon's just delay the inevitable by a few months. So be it.

In the end, it will all be better for Bitcoin. I see this as part of a great test, and so far Bitcoin is the clear winner. Let Elon do his thing, there's nothing to worry about. Just another soon-to-be-added Bitcoin Obituary. This is fine.

HoDL.

@100trillionUSD
Net result (after Turkey ban, US tax FUD, Faketoshi law suits, Elon/Tesla energy FUD) is that bitcoin is 5x higher than ~6 months ago. And both S2FX model + onchain data indicate that we are only halfway this bull market. I would not be surprised to see another 5x next ~6 months.

I'm quite surprised...

my last merit, well deserved.
Albert Einstein (likely) had Asperger's as well, by the way.
Elon seems to be like a big child, not only in a good way, but unstable and with low impulse control.

There are lots of nocoiners we like and some recent bitcoiners, for their non-bitcoin contributions to humanity. Even the vehemently opposed nocoiners like Buffett.

Then, there are the newcoiners like Saylor, who I've never really heard of before last year, and he himself even forgot about bitcoin in 2013 and just rediscovered it recently, who has some sort of business intelligence software company that simply is beyond most people's radar, who are basically now bitcoin maximalists.

It would seem that people like Elon Musk don't really much care about the money beyond having more than enough to live on, or at least a couple billion dollars. He doesn't have a lot of cash since most of his wealth is in his company or stocks (and now in bitcoin maybe).

He still thinks about the long distant future for our species, so that's one thing going for him. Otherwise, he's just like any other human (with or without Asperger's) and wants a little fun, unfortunately at the expense of noob hodlers and such. He's had more than 1 tweet that got him or his company in the crosshairs over the years.

Whatever ... honey badger don't care.

Climate change due to Co2 is actually complete B.S. You could fill the entire atmosphere with Co2 and it would barely make one jot of difference to the climate (since the sun would have to shine brighter for that).

I'm sure Musk knows this but "climate" is a football that's available for anyone kick. Whoever the "kicker" is, the only thing you can be sure of is, the last thing they're concerned about is...the climate.

The people who understand thermodynamics and heat transfer most thoroughly are not in fact geologists, green activists, entrepreneurs or politicians but engineers such as gas turbine designers and aero-engine control systems modellers. One of them got so sick of the climate B.S. narrative that in his retirement he actually sat down and spelled out for people how the climate works from first principles thermodynamics.

Climate change is one thing. Talk about the flat-earthers, and now the hollow-earthers (although I don't seriously think there is anyone out there who could believe about a hollow earth, but then why do the flat earthers still exist.)

Elon does not officially have a coin but who knows he must have grabbed a ton of doge in the recent past.

Uh...last time I checked, he has bought $1.5 billion worth of Bitcoin.

Not seeing where he or his company has bought any Doge. Or any amount that would matter.

We know the game. We've seen this movie before.
