Starting with bitcoin, JPM's Nick Panigirtzoglou writes that this month’s correction in crypto markets saw bitcoin futures shifting into backwardation after spending August in contango. The charts below show the 21-day rolling average of the 2nd CME Bitcoin futures spread over spot since the beginning of 2018. According to JPM, bitcoin's backwardation "is a setback for bitcoin and a reflection of weak demand by institutional investors that tend to use regulated CME futures contracts to gain exposure to bitcoin."

... this makes me think JPMorgue may be caught in a losing bitcoin short on the futures market, first they try to talk it down using their market-moving influence

... might also be related to SEC warning Coinbase away from lending products side of the btc futures market scam because they know it's about to blow-up

... I can see BlockFi or Celcius blowing up and lots of coins "going missing" while JPMorgue quietly walks away from a giant crater left in crypto futures market

...this smells a lot like the MF Global con-game that destroyed the commodity markets in October 2011 when inflation was last about to blow-up the fiat scam, it's taken commodities 10 years to recover

No doubt I would say arguably an excellent move… EU is taking lead yet again to bring a common charger and a common charging cable across all the devices… amazing bravo EU..I hope the world will follow!!!  but can we please take similar steps to a more bigger problem like “money” can we all have the same money? Let’s make bitcoin a common currency of the world.

How this digital age strategy would be complete without bitcoin?

It's performed absolutely terribly against bitcoin. Look at an XMR/BTC chart since the peak in Jan. 2018. XMR valued in BTC has been plunging for 3 years.
