I'd be truly surprised if anything became of it. China is too vested in the U.S. to sink their interests, and the rest of the worlds'. That type of war isn't really being fought anymore, we've moved on to other ways, with combat performed by contractors in 3rd world proxys.

I'm glad to see there are folks who have faith in the restraint of China's global ambitions... personally, I'm afraid Ji will launch an attack the moment his citizenry starts to get restless and unruly due to the collapsing economy. And as for Ole Joe following through with his tough talk, yea... don't hold your breath.

The public has selective amnesia... doesn't remember 2017, when the MSM spent a campaign of 18 months straight trying to convince us that North Korea was going to start war with the U.S. any day now...missle tests flying weekly, etc. Look how that turned out? Another nothing burger.

China and all the other major countries are now too financially entangled. Physical war would be far too devastating. Like nutilah said, they've moved on to financial warfare and covert ops now.

So... I see that all these Bitcoin ETF launches are by EOY. It's like the SEC is now cramming them all in before Dec 31st.

Hmm...why the rush now SEC? Something happening the first of the new year? Lol sus

This make me think…. If and when I cash out something, the exchanged BTC must have purpose before selling, like buying something I badly want and can’t cover it with my available FIAT

But keep the FIAT in BTC is keeping wealth safe for when inflation/ hyperinflation comes

Exactly! only selling I will ever do is for an emergency or home. The home is still an asset so that should hedge the inflation somewhat, and the emergency, well sometimes shit happens. But other than that 3 months worth of expenses only in fiat and no more. Any more than that I risk my family's future.

The days of a strong working and middle class (wealth coming from ones labor) are over. The return to strong feudal lords/robber barons (wealth coming from inherited assets, mostly land) is currently in progress. I see this as a kind of reversion to mean as for probably around 99% of human history this has been the case. I am deeply unhappy about this, but, I am thankful that I will at least be in the asset holder class thanks to Bitcoin.

How much cash has flowed to these funds so far?

And of course how much will be flowing into them in the next 60 days?

These are all Bitcoin Futures right?

I am all for Institutional Involvement in Bitcoin. Critical Mass etc!

But why the fuck does the SEC allow ETF of Bitcoin Futures and not ETF of Actual/Real Holdings of Bitcoin... blows my mind....

Future really in its basic form is just a gamble on the price movement of Bitcoin. I know some will say it is too hedge etc... but lets face it.. it is what it is.

Now, the SEC will let you Gamble (futures) and  also let you sell some of that action to smaller investors (EFT Futures).... Wow! Talk about running before learning how to crawl...

Anyhow, hope everyone here #BTFD...

Simply because there is a US regulated BTC futures product/market - CME Futures.  BTC is not (currently) on any US-regulated exchange and so is not itself regulated. I don’t think any spot BTC ETF will be approved until there is a regulated market for it to trade against.

Custodial brokers for BTC will be very few...at least until all banks build the required security tech to become custodial themselves.
