I want to say something about WO Thread. I am active here for the last 40+ days. To be honest I have never been welcomed here but some of you guys helped me a lot and teach me many things.

IDK if you guys will be surprised or not, I thought you were all guys from the same country, same city and you all know each other. That's why you guys talking to each other only. So I stepped down slowly and post less here. Yesterday, A member knocked on me and ask how can I make friends on WO thread? Are they all from the same city and they know each other? (What I was thinking before). I said nope, just be active and make some good posts. Do you guys know why he asked me that? He posted a few times and he didn't get any replies from anyone. I don't think the WO thread is for Legendaries and Heroes. But look at the WO Thread. There are only Legendaries and Heroes. No one pays attention to low-ranked members until he is recognized.

Anyways, I am sorry if I hurt you guys.

I appreciate your feedback. I don't know if I am a nice guy or not. But, Yes. That's true. In the beginning, I was on the forum for the whole day (except for sleep and other important things). So, There are not many things to write or talk about if you are a stranger and no one knows you. But, After JJG said I am an annoying guy, I was stepped down slowly from WO and Contributed to other sections and, learned many things.

Talking about interesting and important posts, here is that picture of my new medal I was talking about.

As I said, it used to be a badge, marking the number of years you served in the home guard, in my case twenty years. A nice little thing to put on your uniform and a nice encouragement for the lads. You can see it on the right side of the good looking lieutenants chest on the picture below.
But now they have made it into a medal and I'm heavily against that, a nice badge for encouragement yes, a medal for showing up for work, no, definitely not.
Medals should be reserved for more important things than that.
And it also leaves the right side of the uniform kind of empty, and its uglier than the badge.

In other words, anyone is free to contribute in this thread whether newbie or more ranking member on the forum, and we frequently have new members chiming into this thread (and some of them come from other parts of the forum and some of them lurk for a decent amount of time before chiming in).. and surely any new member whether low ranking or not (whether having a hat or not) is free to contribute and participate..

Yes, that's how I have experienced it. I think the first few times I posted something in the thread I was a newbie but I just don't think I ever expected a certain reaction. Sometimes I posted something and no one responded, and it didn't matter to me.

You have to be aware of what this thread is, as Arriemoller says:

I didn't know naim027 at all and we were accused of being alts (which I could prove to be false). The only thing I hope is that he understands well the people here and how the thread works.
