Yep - whichever country you’ve had your vaccinations in will have a record, and using an app/website it will convert your vax details into a QR code - ready to be scanned . In my experience they last about 2-4 weeks then you need an up to date QR code , by just repeating the process . They are needed for European travel , nightclubs etc . Hopefully not for much longer !!!

Thanks for the answer, not up here in Scandinavia, that's why I have never seen one.

Edit again, checked to be sure and yes, no restrictions whatsoever if you are traveling to Sweden from another EU/EEA country, however if you enter from a country outside EU/EEA there is.

In which country do you live? In order to update the QR-code you need another booster and every 2-4 weeks another one is just highly exaggerated.

Nobody knew how Covid behaved over time, imagine when Covid stayed as deadly like during the first wave and they didn't made a vaccine than there would be an outburst rage why there was not one created ore with other words; it's better to have an extra layer of protection than nothing at all.
