stuff

I hear what you are saying....

...however

If I want to mention ETH here I will, if I want to mention a broader crypto topic I will...  as you mentioned, this board DOES indeed devolve into a massive selection of topics, and whilst you think that "throttling "shitcoin" talk" is this boards main strength... I in turn think it is the anti censorship aspect of the thread.

Everyone has access to the "ignore" function, it is super easy to use.

Personally I am not married to any of these damn craptocurrencies,  but I find it , hilarious tbh that some people are so strongly allergic to "shitcoins" that , you make a post , say about a guy who ended up in prison after they travelled to NK, and "helped NK evade sanctions" and somehow, because he has been involved with Ethereum, that suddenly , one feels the need to spazz out and start hyperventilating and barking about "shitcoins/shitcoiner"  .... I mean it is hardly like the topic I posted was about shitcoins, and it was hardly a shill for Ethereum.

Btw, Ethereum defo very much exists, and, regardless of ones maximalism within their own portfolio, which is entirely their choice... but braying at the moon "THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE" is , kinda inane and does not in reality, match reality in any way shape or form.

Also, is it worth making the point that many of these craptocurrencies are chalk and cheese, they are not even attempting to be the same thing, not even close.

Also, there are shitcoins, no doubt, total pieces of shyte, but, then there are other blockchain projects that are kinda cool, and making headways in their own right, and plenty of "midcaps" again some , maybe even MOST, are crap but some are not.

I do not make the argument that this thread should become a altcoin discussion thread , far from it, ... but come on guys, it isn't ever going to, and making a loose reference to a craptocurrency other than Bitcoin, is hardly a reason to break out into hives and start barking shitcoin and labelling people who happen to mention one a "shitcoiner tourist" and the like...

My biggest bug about it, in honesty, is it very much reminds me of the "never coiner" dynamic... its very similar in terms of closemindedness. Its the same sort of rhetoric coming from a bitcoin maximalist as ones from a never coiner, literally the same mechanism at play.

For what it is worth.... I know very very very few "shitcoiners"  that are not in fact "Bitcoiners" 1st, and "shitcoiners" 2nd.

Annnnnnnnnnnnyways..... said my piece now, and imma not ram it down peoples throats, I am pretty sure that we  can all get along, and I for one am now over the convo, I have nothing to add on the topic and so I won't

Bitcoin is obviously king, obvs.

Iranian-born crypto entrepreneur Sina Estavi purchased the NFT for $2.9 million in March 2021. Last Thursday, he announced on Twitter that he wished to sell the NFT, and pledged 50% of its proceeds (which he thought would exceed $25 million) to charity. The auction closed Wednesday, with just seven total offers ranging from 0.09 ETH ($277 at current prices) to 0.0019 ETH (almost $6).

All three of us came to this thread around the same time.  I doubt that suchmoon was inspired by dogecoin.. but whatever, maybe that is a potentially based in fact speculation?

The name was indeed rooted in doge memes. I mined dogecoin and the time. That's how I made my first bitcoins and ended up on this forum. Please forgive me my youthful shitcoining.

I'm still mining shitcoins for bitcoins but don't tell anyone

Elon?  Is that you?

You rich-ass billionaire childish fuck.

There's nothing to forgive. In such cases, the end justifies the means. If you've ended up with more BTC, all the better for you.

Lookie uie poo-ie; enabling shitcoiners.

 Angry Angry Angry Angry

Same with BCH. Gave me several BTC that I still HoDL.

Well, BCH was kind of forced upon BTC holders who had private wallets as of August 1, 2017 (at the time of the hardfork).

Luckily, I didn't listen to jbreher at the time, and got rid of them soon after the fork... Thank you, Bcash LOL!

That's true.  Many of us had to scramble to learn how to claim our forked coins, that is if we either held them in our own private wallets or that some exchanges ended up issuing those split coins to us.  Then of course, there could have been some strategies regarding how soon (if at all) to sell them.  Some folks have still not even moved their coins from where ever they were prior to August 2017.. so they still have the right to claim those BCH (Bcash) coins.. not that they are worth very much now... but they had gone up to around 0.4BTC for some periods in 2017, but they mostly gravitated in the 0.1BTC territory.. and of course now they are worth about 1/10th of that at around 0.0085 BTC... There are still people believing that they can get "in" and "out" of that BCH crap to make more BTC.. which might just be a bad place to focus mental and financial energies, as many of us in this thread likely believe.

Well according to the on chain data the BTC is making some fundamental changes as now the selling pressure or the selling quantity of the BTC in daily trading for big crypto exchanges is decreasing now may be a good change that can make effect on the market besides that. Bear is dominating the market as the market crashes again after a short recovery.

My theory:

was that side ways movement and still ongoing conditions i am not expecting anything big to happen in the current market also the dips make porftfolio to buy in such conditions and

Grid Bot trading is proving itself more profitable these days

After all the lecturing that you have been receiving in recent times.. no shrunk image, and no link...

You fuck.

Well.. women are corrupt. And they always want preferential treatment.  Roll Eyes  Roll Eyes

You are right. Because the current girls More than crime. And crime against girls will increase in the future.

I've seen the 20th one. On a friend that kept giving money to a b!tch because he had a weakness for her. But he got in debt because of her and he can't even have money for himself now. No.   That's not true.

It might be making you bored or your friends, but there are all kinds of ongoing developments and happenings in bitcoin, whether considering historical events, present happenings or what might happen.. There is no need to be at a loss for discussion points, unless you are either lacking in creativity/imagination, you are not very bright or you are purposefully wanting to shill us, troll us or get us off topic in this here otherwise lovely thread.

so need somw excitement to chill...

No we don't.

Don't be making such nonsense proclamations in order to attempt to cause your irrelevant shitcoin talk bullshit to become relevant.. because for sure the idea that "we need more excitement" is not the case.. even if the only thing you see is flat or downtrending chart buddies, I could give little shit.. that would not indicate either a lack of excitement in bitcoin or a need for posts about shitcoin attack vectors in this thread.

After that post i was expecting this Reply still Repect to emotions ...

Nobody takes Musk the husk seriously anymore. Whether he is fudding crypto or anything else like stocks. In fact, Twitter stock seems completely unaffected by his PR bullshit.
He can't stop promoting how much in love with himself he is. Remember when he was going to donate billions to "solve" world hunger but chickened out when he was asked to step up?

Quote
Criticism of the SEC

Musk added in reference to the earlier Tesla take private tweet, “funding was actually secured” and explained why he does not “have respect for the SEC in that situation.”

He went as far as to call some at the agency, “those bastards.”

In September 2018, the SEC charged Musk with making “false and misleading” statements to investors when he announced via Twitter in August that year he was considering taking Tesla private at $420 a share and had funding secured. Musk and Tesla eventually agreed to a settlement with the government and revised it in 2019.

Under its terms, Musk and Tesla each had to pay $20 million in fines to the SEC, and Musk had to temporarily relinquish his role as chairman of the company’s board.

In June 2020, the SEC said Musk was in violation of some terms of the agreement that required the CEO to have tweets preapproved if they contained material business information about Tesla likely to affect the share price. Musk had tweeted that Tesla’s stock price was too high, which sent the shares down.

The SEC is currently investigating Musk over his use of Twitter in conjunction with the timing of his trades.

“I don’t mean to blame everyone at the SEC but certainly the San Francisco office,” Musk said, discussing the controversy over the take private tweet. “It was because the SEC knew that funding was secured but they pursued an active, public investigation nonetheless. At the time, Tesla was in a precarious financial situation and I was told by the banks that if I did not agree to settle with the SEC that they would, the banks would cease providing working capital and Tesla would go bankrupt immediately. So that’s like having a gun to your child’s head. So I was forced to concede to the SEC unlawfully, those bastards.”
