There are two parts to Bitcoin.

 Sadly, there are no old age homes for polar bears.  Maybe Greenpeace can get on that instead of Bitcoin's energy usage.

I was trying to highlight the barren-wasteland background. Not sure if anyone remembers where polar bears are supposed to live but its not supposed to be a desert dried out from man-made climate change. (although maybe someone set him lose in a foreign habitat for shits and giggles? )

They are not really burning them. If anything, they are making more. It just all becomes more and more worthless while the people slowly realise how badly they have been duped.

Infact the supply has gone up since the merger. If you see data on https://ultrasound.money/ then 2180 new ethereum have been issued since the merger on 15 September 2022. So ethereum ever growing supply won't be affected due to this merger and it will continue on its inflationary model.

We do not know the supply of that crap.. that's part of the problema..

They can burn all the fuck they want, and if we do not know the starting point (and even unable to verify the whole chain back to the beginning), then why the fuck would it matter how many of those supposed coins that they are burning, except for the sake of appearances.

Really this merger helped many to understand how much centralized this blockchain is and technically its no way near bitcoin.

Rather than clicking the links in that forum, I just looked at some YT videos, it's spread over there obviously.

I appreciate it is all development & testing stuff but so far I actually think it looks a bit boring and too similar to GTA5 with a bit of a Bonnie & Clyde story thrown in.

Not sure, but maybe the game needs some type of multi location or multi time setting approach to really wow me.

For sure, it will look much better when it's released.

I've not played GTA5 in some years, maybe about 4-5 years.

Not sure I will ever get back into it.

I tried RDR2 and couldn't get into it much. I did play poker for about 2 weeks within that game but that was it.

I have found interest in some other games since.
