I just wanted to add that Lysine metabolism is connected to Vitamin C, so it's advisable to take a little Ascorbic Acid with Lysine, if taken as a supplement.
Vitamin B6 is also keeping Herpes at bay. My wife used to have Herpes Labialis regularly, until i recommended her to take B-Vitamins (in 1-2x RDA amounts), as well as B6 as high as 10mg per day. Blisters are very rare now, and a good dose of Lysin+C for three or four days acts as a first aid to let them heal quicker and stop them from spreading.

How come it sounds like more than one person singing?

Are you a "we" sirazimuth? Or is that just putting one track (channel?) over another?  

There’s 3 over dubbed tracks of my vocals.
Typical standard recording studio trick if you can’t sing.It thickens up the sound.
Albeit, I don’t believe it’s cheating like using auto tune that changes the pitch to perfect.
(I do not use auto tune)

Voice overdubbing is quite standard since introduction of multitrack recording.
It's pretty hard to overdub near perfection, for example like mariah carey, michael jackson or annie lennox were very, very good at.
For myself, if i can hear Autotune is at work (or Meldodyne), the joy in any musical track disappears, which is quite normal in nowaday's pop/dance music.
Sucks out all life of a vocal track. We used to use it as an emergency spot repair tool, with a few short corrections on single notes / syllables, to explicity not destroy the magic of a vocal track.
The new generation of music production seems like all about to put out transparent, high gloss audio plastic to me
