Also, remarkably little in the cinema to distract.

Thought about going to see Halloween Ends. Then I read a few reviews and that put me right off.

I feel sad for the cinema chains with the utter tripe they are putting out at the moment.

 


A decent movie I saw last week at home was The Outfit with Mark Rylance. Worth a watch if you like the sort of Alfred Hitchcock stuff.

Seconded! Top-notch performance by Rylance, and a clever plot with twists & turns until the very end.

Another one I would recommend is Nightmare Alley (2021), by director Guillermo del Toro. Worth a watch.

But, that said... 72 is too young.  Sounds less and less old the further I go.

The man has no qualms about it but this's it, Elon Musk hit a new level of low, shilling for China's CCP just for tax breaks on his Tesla cars in China?

Yeah that was a good flick, it was mentioned here earlier this year.

Another one I would recommend is Nightmare Alley (2021), by director Guillermo del Toro. Worth a watch.

I'll check it out, I wouldn't watch it from the initial premise so should be interesting to see if I like it.
