...

We're on Page 32011 of the WO thread.  "32011" (also known as 32011X) is also the number of a bearing used in the transmissions of some trucks.

Just thought someone might like to know.  You know, just in case.

And no, I have not been drinking...

Heck!
ChipMixer was seized by US and German authorities.
1909.4 Bitcoin in 55 Transactions (44.2 Million Euro) with 7 TB Data seized. The most famous Mixer on this forum ended their journey.

http://chipmixer.com/
https://www.europol.europa.eu/media-press/newsroom/news/one-of-darkwebs-largest-cryptocurrency-laundromats-washed-out
Is this a real seizure?
Yes, it is. It's official from the Authorities. DarkStar Just ended the signature Campaign as well.
Quote
I for one am glad I never sold my signature to them.
Now I hope all that did and many did on Bitcointalk don't get in trouble.
I don't think anyone would be in trouble just because they sold signature space to them. Every service has positive and negative as well. It depends on how you use it. weapons were invented for good. To protect yourself. But, now we using it for bad purposes. Mixers are good for privacy. But, if people use it for money laundering and illegal activities. That's not good.

TV Channels and websites owner shouldn't be in jail because they advertised some failed project that ended up bankrupt.
Never said jail I said trouble.

the people that did commercials for SBF are being sued.

the signature campaign run here was a long running commercial for chipmixer.

seems close to the same.

You really have an authoritarian view about government and rule of law, no?

It seems really draconian to be attempting to suggest that the participation in signature campaigns should be treated like a celebrity endorsement of something like FTX?

Scale does make a difference, and even the holding of celebrities accountable is somewhat of a novel theory.. but it still seems to be qualitatively different than requiring signature campaign due diligence.

I feel like participating in mixing signature campaign just to exercise my rights.. but I am not going to do it.. but I believe any of us should be able to NOT feel vulnerable to DOJ prosecutions and the forum should feel the same to offer the ability of allowing signature campaigns.. even if some of those signature campaigns might have questionable legality.

By the way, fuck shitcoins, but I don't have a problem with members participating in shitcoin signature campaigns.. and I will call them a dweeb, but I am not necessarily going to call them to be prosecuted for the behaviors of their shitcoin... and sure there are levels of shitcoins that are more morally reprehensible.. such as BSV.. so whether those are shamed or maybe the forum does not allow those.. and so are you starting to see differences?  Maybe not?  You think that doggie coin is a good investment (relative to bitcoin)...for like a 50-year time horizon...

Yes.. over and over you tend to show that you do not have very good judgement.. so must suck sometimes.  #justsaying

Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

I simply hope nothing happens to those that were paid in BTC for years by chipmixer.

At least you are willing to say that.

I made it clear  with multiple posts that issues might happen with chipmixer. I did this months ago.

You warned them.. so what?

You think that there was a need to stop promoting chipmixer because you understand that there was something "illegal" about what they were doing?  Remember the US Government and other agencies have shut down a variety of services, do you agree with all of that too?  Silk road?  BTCE?

We do not need to get into particulars, but the mere declaration of something being illegal (even by various branches of the US Govt) does not necessarily cause it to be ex-post-facto wrong or "winnable", merely because sensitive folks like you have moral (and perhaps smarter than everyone else) and I told you so feelings about it.  Have you heard of due process rights?  There are a variety of rights and legal theories are not always black and white.. even if your favorite uncle declares them to be black and white and even if they want to you be patriotic and gullibly buy their debt too...

Probably part of the reason that you have historically failed/refused to sufficiently/adequately invest in bitcoin over the years (as you have already admitted several times - and seem to be continuing to do) is that you are a gullible fuck who likes to follow your big daddy no matter what he says.. because you always want to make sure that you are 110% compliant. blah blah blah.

I am not suggesting that any of us breaks any clear laws, but I am saying that it is not always clear cut, and there are a lot of injustices out there.. think of folks who are prosecuted and sometimes even punished through the process.. Ross Ulbricht, Julian Assange, Edward Snowden...   Those are not exactly unambiguous cases, even if you might want to listen to your uncle regarding them.

The next two hours we should break the $25,00 resistance! For the 2nd time in a couple of weeks. I think we might push on from here without dropping back down we might finally be able to challenge the $30,000 price. We just need more banks to fail in the next couple of days and it should continue rising. I do not know why multiple banks are failing in the same week but I hope it continues for the price of Bitcoin!

I would rather that banks do not continue to fail.

And, I believe bitcoin gives less than two shits whether banks fail or not.

My lil precious is going to do whatever it is going to do whether banks fail or whether other macro manipulations happen.

Sure, the powers that be can try whatever their lil games and bitcoin will go up and bitcoin will go down.. and many of us likely realize that overall, it is likely to continue to go up way more than it goes down.. like a gravitational force in which value continues to gravitate into it..

what is happening to banks right now is a domino effect and it looks like it will stay like this for the next few days, rumors about the decline in share prices of many banks have been heard since last January.  we still have a hard time predicting the market but it is very likely that bitcoin will not drop below $20k again.

Sure.. ever since the reserve requirement was taken away in early/mid 2020, it must have seemed inevitable that the banks were going to be "in trouble" including various risks of run on the banks - even that there might have been ways for them to be more responsible, but they were ending up in a kind of damned situation when many of them likely had been investing in various kinds of conservative instruments, but then interest rates were rising so fast to out pace the earnings on their earlier investments...

and the extent to which the "contagion" that might have come from various "crypto" sector issues, and some of those failings were likely bringing the soundness of deposits into question.. .. I am not even claiming to have hardly any clue regarding how any of the shit could have been prevented.. even though the claim about bitcoin fixing this seems to have some potential credibility, but not any clearness regarding the short-term direction in terms of whether UPpity momentum for bitcoin is "guaranteed" to continue.

I cannot even rest assured that our move up from the beginning of 2023 - provides us any assurance that the $15,479 bottom is in.. and then our more recent - nearly $6k move UP in a matter of days, gives us any assurance that sub-$20k is not going to be seen again or even our $15,479 bottom revisited.

Our various ongoing moves UPPity and ongoing demonstration that king daddy is not correlated with equities and not correlated with whatever Uncle Sam believes "is best" may well inspire various uncle Sam branches of the Govt to lash out with greater degrees of desperation - which may well contribute to some Streisand effects - but it is not guaranteed that Streisand effects will be the outcome and they might not be able to have some short-term success in battling king daddy.. .. and surely there could be some strong signs to actually show that king daddy gives no shits.. but then again, I am not going to hold my breath because the whole thing is a bit scary.. and I would prefer a bit more harmony.. even though I already accept that there is a war going on, and any of us who have invested in bitcoin for a while have already realized that there could be some pretty BIG play attempts - and we cannot completely be sure how some of this will play out.. and how much we might be ready for the various battles that could come about and continue to include pain from a lot of directions - whether any of us are casualties or not, we are likely going to continue to see casualties, uncertainties and perhaps even uncomfortableness in terms of various clown attempts to keep so many of these matters contained.. and I am not going to rest assured about knowing the direction, even though I continue to attempt to prepare myself for either direction.. even though some of it remains uncomfortable for me, no matter which way she blows.

So CPI

was announced on pi day at 0.4 for Feb and 6.0 for Year.

I wonder if they:

Do 0.00, 0.25, 0.50 on March 22 .

Waiting for that number and for bailout results for the next bank to fail.

You may be looking at shadows on a cave wall?

Perhaps?

Perhaps?

Another big jolt to the banking system is on the way. https://www.bbc.com/news/business-64964881- Credit Suisse is in trouble! I assume more name are gonna pop up in the coming days. I am expecting BTC to get another push. I had read that Bitcoin has been in green for the last three months. I am expecting it to stay in green for the fourth consecutive month with an eye on 30k.
