...a hot war in the Middle East by March-April 2025. Possibly kicked off as early as February. After the US president is decided.

They will need a "reason" to crash markets (and thus slam rates back to zero).

I came across a lot of "We will never see Bitcoin at $58k again" posts on various social media platforms, today.
Quite surreal considering the last few weeks.
But so be it. King Daddy's way.

In light of the Fed cut 50 bps, I'm 'speculating' in this WO thread...

Do not “over-conspiracy” at some point BTC needs to decouple from some things

War’s can easily crash a lot of things, but at the same time it also possible for BTC to rise to some new highs.

As a BTC person, a lot of positive as negative things can happen and a lot of manipulation etc

But I remain a BTC believer otherwise wouldn’t hold on to it… So I just choose to believe that it’s always possible for BTC to reach for new heights even the very very high ones in whatever times or with whatever news.

It’s always to easy to point at every FUD imo.

Is one of the first time i see this doubtfull about this rate cut, for some is super clear and for some tohers is in the direct opposite way.

I think we also are in a super cone of overinformation, we have so many sources to see so many graphs etc that a tree can block the forest.

Why i say this, well because when i see the BIG picture this rate cut still minusculus and in the middle picture still little, if you see a chart for 5 years you can see that, is very minor but we talk about this like our lifes depends on it.

it is not about this cut it is about the trend reversal.

I have explained that 6 trillion invested in treasury bonds by all the USA long term care insurance companies can not survive a 0-3% rate forever. I shown it time and time again with links and graphs on this long ass thread of ours that these companies needed relief. relief for them is high ass treasury rates. of 3.5-5.5%

Well they now have had there relief all of the major ones like Genworth and John Hancock are back on stable ground so the treasury has turned us into the other direction.

They (the Fed) always wait a bit too long so we are yet to see the fallout this year.

ie the market may or may not crash bigly like it did back in 2008 when rates turned back down.

Personally the fed has a record of waiting too long and crashing the market and it has been 16 years since the 2008 disaster.

my opinion is a line has been crossed and the world is worse off.

Just think if every iphone 16 blows up right now the damage done would be immense.

But the pagers were in use for six months so how bout every iphone 17 and 16 blow up in 20 months or so.

there is no question that the manufacturer allowed the battery to be part plastic explosive.

I read two or three did not explode and were disassembled finding plastic explosive in the battery case.

which means every cell phon and every tablet and every laptop could get rigged at the factory.

A line was crossed in that a state op likely convinced the builder of the gear to allow 1000's of units to be setup as bombs .  So every time you use a cell phone or a table or a laptop you could be using a bomb .

War’s can easily crash a lot of things, but at the same time it also possible for BTC to rise to some new highs.

Yeah, I could see how you would read what I wrote as being bearish BTC news.

I wasn't being down on BTC. I guess I was unclear when I said "markets".

I don't consider BTC to be a traditional market. Although with the algo bots and ETFs, they have tied it a little bit to the larger trad market.

The last time all markets crashed in March 2020, BTC and the PM's initially went down too (remember Mindrust?)

But then BTC and PMs went on a tear to all new ATHs because traders and algo bots were front running the absolute flood of freshly printed cheap Fed dollars.

This will indeed happen again.

It's not a matter of "if", but "when".

Remember, history has shown us that in the past, the Fed has *never* prevented an economic hard landing. Not ever.
