...a hot war in the Middle East by March-April 2025. Possibly kicked off as early as February.

They will need a "reason" to crash markets (and thus rates back to zero).

War’s can easily crash a lot of things, but at the same time it also possible for BTC to rise to some new highs.

I wasn't being down on BTC. I guess I was unclear when I said "markets".

I don't consider BTC to be a traditional market. Although with the algo bots and ETFs, they have tied it a little bit to the larger trad market.

I'm not sure how you are misreading me.

I currently hodl 99% of my net worth in BTC. Enough to be retired forever.

Long term, I am still very bullish on BTC.

Am supposed to say that now that the Fed has cut rates by 50 bps, BTC is going to the absolute moon within a month? Or two?

You and I both know it doesn't work that way.

I'm sure as shit not going to blow smoke up peoples arses here about BTC going to the moon tomorrow.

Remember that whole bullshit with the PlanB fiasco and people saying "Yeah man, were gonna be over $100k and then $1M in just a few months!", all while I was one of the few saying that was complete bullshit?

I have a slight hope that this will be very good for bitcoin, according to the ETFs it has to do its part, right?

Additionally, U.S. spot BTC ETFs showed increased demand, with a $186.76 million net daily inflow on Tuesday. This reinforced investors’ risk-on mode ahead of the Fed decision.

However, at the time of writing, the demand from U.S. investors wasn’t too strong, as illustrated by a negative reading from the Coinbase Premium Index.

Nobody talking about the first US President to make a Bitcoin transaction in public? Pretty big news for Bitcoin I would think. You can’t get a much better commercial. Granted from the video it looked like he messed up scanning the barcode and had to have someone do it for him, but petty details aside, this has to be good for adoption.

Actually I apologize to you (and everyone else here on WO) if I came off sounding like a defensive douche, or bearish, or whatever. I think I misread your post.

Ugh...I think today was one of those days for me...woke up on the wrong side of bed...irritated with family, etc.

Also, things going on in the world get to me sometimes.

The bull run may have been delayed after the halving, but here we are. Most didn’t expect it at this time.. The last time we hit that was earlier this year when we reached an ATH.... and now it looks like we’re about to break it again if this momentum keeps up.
Moments like these are the ones we should ride on to get lucky, and the second bull run will follow.
