Benefits

Dear People

I have read the past threads and I have a question about reviving my old coins. I have coins on a wallet stored in June 2014. Now I would like to get my coins to an exchange. As I understand currently I have to download the 'old Blockchain' (which I have don)e, and open my wallet.dat with the old Pinkcoin QT Wallet. However, nowhere I can find the old QT Wallet and I don't have it anymore running on my computer. Can someone please help me on how to get the coins to an exchange? The coinswap is based on the new Pinkcoin wallet but as I understand correctly the old wallet.dat does not work with the new Wallet?

Poloniex is still generating old Pink addresses (starting with P)

i talked to a mod a few minutes ago,
and they said their wallet was on the correct chain and height.

False. They have stopped responding to our requests to update. We have explained the swap, our method, and why we are doing it. They urged us to try other methods that have worked well with other coins, and when we explained that that we had considered those options and that those methods would not work for us, they refused to respond further. Now they are the lone holdout in this otherwise completed and successful swap.

We continue to attempt to appeal to their better judgment, have asked if there is anything that we can do to better assist them in the transition, and continue to apply pressure from our sizable slack community.

Ultimately old pinkcoin will die. One of our developers is barely keeping that chain running on a computer in his basement. We have committed to maintaining that network until July 1st, but after that we will stop supporting that network and it will die. We know that will happen because the whole network stops when that wallet crashes, and last year, before I assisted in the revival of the network, several months went by where there was only a handful of blocks created by a handful of people in the community desperately trying to keep things alive. We have all moved on to the new pinkcoin now.

If Polo refuses to update, then when the network halts on July 1st, everyone with coins on Polo will lose them - or at least will never be able to do anything with them outside of Polo, because nobody except polo will have the keys we would need in order to swap their coins for them.

Should be file version 2.0.0.4 but I am not sure.

The price is hovering around 700-800sat rigjt now, it is an improvement from its original value of 200ish. I am not sure if it just an aftereffect of the pump and will slowly decreases or it'll be a new stable rate as how it is with DASH. I am not investing on it in case of the former is what happened, but I put the coin on my favorite list and will surely keep watching it, ready to jump in on the next pump.

As you've pointed out, Pink's wallet is disabled on Poloniex for both withdraw and deposit. It is technically impossible to purchase coins on Polo and withdraw then to Bittrex, since Polo is upgrading from the old chain to the new chain and have all wallets disabled. Poloniex is crazy busy right now, and they have mentioned they are going as fast as they can and have told us the wallet will be back online soon.

Actually, there is a small increment today which more or less, I think, was influenced by polo's complete swap. Too bad there is no major difference between polo and bittrex like how it was, it'll be a nice arbitrage

I think Pink after the swap will tend to go up! The concept and purpose of the coin is one of the best. For example, C2coin could not make a swap, the developers forgot about the coin, the result is the removal from all exchanges and a lamentable end.
