What do I need to participate in ICO?

To register on the site and the procedure KYC. And you will be able to participate in ICO CHIMAERA. You have another 20+ days.

Probably KYC passing there is nobody any more will not melt news. This already habitual becomes business. Of course to see sadly a little it in community where at first the idea was anonymity. Already all becomes transparent also everywhere.

Hardcap is around $30.000.000. Softcap is around $2.500.000, though Andy said, that they will keep going, even if the softcap is not reached.

See this post from @muleroaa as well. Plesae note that around 16.000.000 CHI have been sold in private presale, so only around 59.000.000 CHi available for presale.

The Pre-sale is ongoing now. There are 75.000.000 up for grabs at a 30% discount, this comes down to a price of 0.00001400 BTC each. 75.000.000 * 0.00001400 = 1050 BTC.

Then there are 75.000.000 for sale at Step 1 of the Main Sale at a discount of 15%, this comes down to a price of 0.00001700 BTC each. 75.000.000 * 0.00001700 = 1275 BTC.

Finally there are 75.000.000 for sale at Step 2 of the Main Sale at the base value rate, this comes down to a price of 0.00002000 BTC each. 75.000.000 * 0.00002000 = 1500 BTC.

This comes down to a total of 1050 + 1275 + 1500 = 3825 BTC or 3825 * $8495 (current BTC value) = $32.493.376

i trust you, snailbrain .. i am sure Chimaera will also follow in the footsteps of huntercoin and namecoin or maybe it could be bigger than that. with the experience you have in gaming based blockchain hopefully chimaera will reach hardcap. I think the idea of scaling the blockchain with game channels. How the global state of the game is on the blockchain and matches open up channels. The result of the matches are then recorded on the blockchain. To me that is such a clever use of blockchain and layer 2 scaling

With the current market situation, people are a bit hesitant to invest in ICO's in general. Everybody is more like observing the market and waiting what happens. The Chimaera presale still runs till April 19th, so there is no rush for investors to get in now. They can track the progress of the sale and get in later.
But there will be some announcement in the upcoming days and maybe some more people will feel rushed to get some CHI

Chimaera is not only a game development platform but also a gaming platform. Since developers can create these games entirely on the blockchain everything that you own in the game will be truly yours and so we will also offer a platform where you can trade these ingame items, accounts, coins or whatever you like.
