What happened to the coin prize? From 1300 sats down to about 600??  It seems that people are playing the "how deep can it go until it's cheap enough for someone to buy all the coins" - game... and the only winner of this game is (hopefully) the guy who takes all the cheap coins then! This game is too risky for me... The team making progress with Taurion and Soccer Manager makes it even riskier! I think, Hodling is much safer at the moment than selling! (just my opinion about this) |

Price going up to 1300 sats was just some individuals buying some chunks of CHI to fill their bags. Some people fomoed then and bounty hunters unloaded their CHI. I wouldn't pay too much attention to the price/market for now. There is not a lot of volume and you can easily push the price around with some CHI&BTC. It should get better with Taurion/SME, but who knows when those games will be playable  |

Still, it’s rather sad how they got stuck with being sent there. The place is a hellhole of a planet. I’m glad I live here and not on Lionis, even if there were no Jodies there. Personally (not speaking as a team member), I'd not worry too much about it. I think the main thing for the project now is to see SME and Taurion released. After that, then it makes more sense to look at exchanges. The game releases will make listing much easier as the exchanges will see the concrete results and have greater faith in the project and its potential. But, that's just my personal take on it. I'm looking long term as I fully expect us to be around for a very long time. I think perhaps THE major hurdle is for people to actually understand what blockchain is, and then to understand what we're doing with it. Nobody else is doing what we are. It's unique and the nuances are not always easy to explain. For example, exactly how computationally complex games are possible on XAYA but not possible on Ethereum is very clear to me, but explaining that requires certain background information that I think many people are lacking. That makes explaining it difficult. The tl;dr there is that computation is done ON the blockchain in Ethereum in smart contracts, but XAYA offloads computation OFF the blockchain so you don't run into things like it being impossible to have a chess game because check mate is too computationally expensive and gas prices would be insane. That offloading of computation is really important for computational scalability. I believe that we'll see CHI on CMC, but just not right now. |

Some information for those who don't pay regular visits to the Xaya forums and Telegram. About fiat to CHI mechanism, to make it more convenient for people/gamers to buy CHI:We will have it.. already discussed with a provider. Game channels:We are also working on the first game channel game.. should be ready next week albeit it's really only for devs and as an example framework and wont be a front end yet. Its only battleships..
After this we will be working on a proper game channel game..
So where a lot of projects promote fast blocks.. game channels is pretty much instant realtime p2p decentralised trustless gaming. What the Xaya team is currently working/focusing on:- Taurion -front end and extra features in the backend
- Xayaships - Xaya game channels version of battleships for an example to game devs.
- Electrum Wallet (with name functionality)- will be used for android wallets, trezor etc and for the relay method of gaming on xaya.
- Relay Service for Taurion / SME (basically just running both those daemons on some VPS for now, combined with electrum wallet means no need to sync - enabling mobile games etc..).
- Website Overhauls - more clean, faster and no longer made for an ICO... Bas is working on this now.
- Taurion Teaser video - currently in progress atm.
- Taurion Stories - Ryan is stacking these up for the lore and back story.
- Soccer Manager Backend - helping were possible with this..
- Getting ready to release Xaya Electron 1.2 (which includes XID dapp by default - if on linux you can just run it seperately) - we need to create a Linux Electron build (and mac) as well soon. Should just work though.

On Liquid exchange only half a bitcoin takes us 3x to 1300 satoshi. No resistance. Always nice to see. Cannot wait till the games come out!
Sellers are tiring and buyers are always ready.

A lot of coins went to the HUC snapshot and for bounties. You may be right there and most of those people may have already sold. We'll see though. |
