I am trying to buy .85BTC and I get this error: "Please enter a valid number." Is there a minimum? If so, why?

Which is annoying and has made me miss two good trading prices today.

.85 is not a commonly accepted format. Zero is always used in front of the sum to indicate it's less than 1.

Using a dot instead of zero is very unorthodox in business. It might happen in some small kiosks, perhaps even some american stores. Accounting, stocks, never.
