Really?!.. Well that's a great news! I'm a Filipino and I'm glad to know that our government see the big potentials of bitcoins instead of criticizing it. Too add and to clarify things before they have raised the issue of the growing number of scammers accepting Bitcoin as a mode of payment, the misinformation made some think that Bitcoin is not recognized by BSP. What they are trying to do is to warn the citizens of not falling in these traps easily as they know that Bitcoin is hard to trace where if you send the money to the scammer it will be hard to retrieve again. Good thing that the Philippines is one of the Asian countries who accept Bitcoin immediately.

Yes everyone seems to be enjoying about this news that the Central Bank recognizes and adopted bitcoin as a legit thing, before they were skeptic but upon seeing a lot of Filipino's earning good with it.
