Hi,
I just did a clean linux install.
I'm new to linux.

I need a full script for the terminal for:
Driver and SKD install
install POCLBM
hashkill full install

I'm running 4 x 5870

I also need overclocking software

First working script poster ( including oc software) gets a Bitcoin ( 20$ )

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. Header-only clients like MultiBit trust that the majority of mining power is honest for the purposes of enforcing network rules such as the 21 million BTC limit. Full clients do not trust miners in this way.

you want a script or just a list of cli instructions?

if a script, why would you want to automate the install unless you have lots of rigs? in which case as a linux newcomer, you're going to have your hands full!

Could be done in a few lines on Arch Linux - however a few more infos would be needed... like which "Linux" (= which distribution) are you even using?!

Also why poclbm AND hashkill?

Anyways, Arch has poclbm and phoenix-miner in AUR as well as hashkill (you'd still need the bitcoin plugin for the latter though)... the full script would require more than 1 hour of work though probably and also mean I'd take my miner offline --> not gonna happen, my time is worth more than 17 USD/hour!

Reading doesn't seem to be a strength of yours, hm?

Installation is simple - just run sudo ./install.sh (it requires superuser privileges in order to copy the plugins and kernels to /usr/share/)
